They just don’t look as disciplined as they did in the 1930/1940’s. Such a shame. Watch Chile. They are amazing keeping the German uniforms and the goose step. Now they March to perfection and the pride and discipline radiates from them
You can't compare the modern day German military with the Wehrmacht or even the SS. Those are two seperate things, two different governments, and different reasons to fight for.
@@Kalashnikov413 Ya I have seen the torches ceremony’s..it’s ok… But no good old goose stepping. I really hate to say this, but are those German soldiers? They look a bit overweight and slack; almost as bad as the occupiers. It is not even a mockery of what the German Army used to be. Germany is still an occupied country and probably will remain so until the occupier is no longer able to occupy anything. Does the German Army have a purpose, being as is a part of NATO? The German armed forces can do nothing without NATO orders, which serves other master. Being a part of NATO, these soldiers serve no national purpose. Not even as parade grounds material. I'm sure they are not even allowed to play their traditional military marches. Rather, they serve as excuse for legitimacy (multi-national action) and source of funding for the military adventures of others. What, for instance, are German soldiers doing in Afghanistan? But thank you very much for uploading this video.
It's a music corps, so the most of them have not hold a g36 since their basic training, but you're right.. time has changed and the government destroyed our army year's ago.. Sad but truth.. German men don't have to go to the Bundeswehr anymore and the actuall troops, especially our Luftwafffe (Aircraft) lose one machine after the other.. Maybe it's time for a new government, cause this sucks.. It's a shame for the german millitary history... We used our power not always for good thing's, but at least we had pride..
Oh they play traditional marches such as Prussian Glory and Koniggratzer but that's as traditional as they get, their one and only true friends still kept the WW2 traditions. The Chileans.

Hans Schaaf That is militarily, politically and culturally occupied. Take for instance Mrs. Merkel's stance on Russia - Ukraine conflict: she just told Putin that Germany will not recognize the separatists' vote. However, Germany did recognize the Kosovo separatists under about the same circumstances. She was just following what Washington told her to say. In 1966 Germany shipped much of its gold (1500 tons) to the US for "safekeeping". When Germany asked to get its gold back it was told that it could not be done (for technical reasons, of course). Then Germany asked to at least see its gold. It was told no, Germany could not see its gold (security reasons, of course). The fact is that Germany will never (literally) ever see its gold again and does not even dare complain, for the US will tell it to shut up. Until well into the 1980s, occupation soldiers could commit any crime in Germany (robbery, rape and even murder) and could not be prosecuted because they enjoyed immunity. That part has changed a little bit but only to obtain more willing cooperation from Germany. What the f*** are German soldiers doing in Afghanistan, for instance?. If it looks like a duck, waddles like a duck and quacks like a duck, maybe it is a duck.

Why oh Why are audiences obsessed with clapping whilst the band are playing, it is really off- putting.
I agree that they should have kept the Prussian way of marching like Chile has
They do, and since just heavy infantry used to march in “goose step”, everything is how it should be.
Why no Prussian goose step?
We marching for them watch this video:
Landgraf Marsch - Militar Parade 2009 Chile (16)
Cos' the last true german-prussian army was the NVA
Weil wir dann als Nazi abgestempelt werden
Because the Bundeswehr sees itself in the Tradition of the "Jäger" Units , and these were light infantry and therefore didn't march in Goosesteps
Ironically Der Petersburger Marsch is a Finnish march (Suomi march) composed by Erik Erikson, a Swedish national.
Schade, dass die meisten deutschen diese Art von Musik nicht mögen.
