Great video, I have a few Brunnera which I really like but they do die back in the winter or at least mine do.
Yes they will eventually loose their foliage in late winter. This was to give ideas for a long season and good mix of foliage.

Would be fantastic if you could mention if the plants are pet friendly or not, I have seen lots of lovely plants you mention only to find out later that they are poisonous to cats and dogs
