@@samboi123 I will second that. This track did get much more care and refinement than coconut mall did. I will say just outright though that from the start this track's music was more intricate than coconut mall's is even in 7 so it does make sense to me.

Man they really improved this track in 8, the music is more grand, the sky looks so vibrant now and the galaxy vibe is definitely there. In 7 it just felt like a basic ice level
As a 200cc player, I can agree. For beginners, I don’t recommend using anyone heavier than Light Cruiser starting off. Ur gonna have to learn how to handle ur kart before taking on the half pipe Roundabout and the right route of thin ice.
Can't believe Mario Kart 7 is already 12 years old. Mario Kart 64 was 14 years old when 7 came out. I don't like how we've already taken the place of the 90s kids with the 'back in my day' stuff.
I loved this track in MK7, and I’m SO glad that it made a return for the BCP! Not only that, Nintendo didn’t have to fill my dream of adding the halfpipe ramps at the end of the ice tunnel, leading to the ice lake, cause I’ve LONGED for this ever since seeing, and playing on this track in its original version, while also still having some memories of MKWii for this to be a wish that became reality!
Honestly I probably should’ve expected that they’d take this song and make it a banger, since I always thought the original had potential but just fell flat, but even still I was blown away by this remake!
This is a HUGE step up from mario kart 7 there are so many more instruments in the background and not just a low pitch piano this is almost as good as toad circut

I've played mario kart since Wii but honestly, I never really had a favourite track, or one that stuck out a ton. But wow I love this one so much. It's so cozy feeling, I love the big turn at the start, it's so satisfying. But the best part is this music, I love it so much, one of the few mario kart music tracks that actually sticks out to me as I play the track.
this was one of my most wanted courses, the other being wii bowser's castle. i thought that, obviously, wii bowser's castle would get in over ice world, so i didn't have my hopes up too high. naturally, this was such a welcome surprise. i LOVE this track so much, the remake does it so much justice.
I didn’t think much of it when this track first came out. But after putting some time into it, It’s actually an underrated BANGER of a track from the music, to the beautiful galaxy theme, to the fascinating strategy of getting to the top path at the beginning of the lap 🔥🔥🔥

I absolutely love this remix. It fixes the melancholy vibes of the old one while also making it much more upbeat wich I think suits Mario Kart 8's 200cc races way more
My reaction when I first heard this was so unnecessary! But it does sound AMAZING LIKE OH MY GOD! And that synth thing instrument that plays from 0:44-0:54 sounds so good!

I’m very happy the shortcut works in this track like 7 did (the gap in the beginning). Smart steering is needed for it, and it’s super awesome it also saves time as well. I got so far ahead online just because of that.
