Those 600 etec engines need to have the bearing seals pulled at around 10,000kms to repack the isoflex grease.Heard of many of them going down due to seals getting hard causing a lean out.If that was out of warranty you'd be faced with a hefty repair bill.I've switched to 4 stroke for that reason. My wife and I love our 900ace powered sleds over 20000kms and running like new.Love your videos btw
The 600r is a completely different engine than the old 600etec, but it does still have the greased outer bearings. Both the grease bearings were still good when the mechanic had this one apart, the crank was actually replaced because an inside bearing was rough. That was probably due to piston parts going through it. If I never had warranty I would have rebuilt the engine myself last summer, but with all the warranty it seemed like a waste of my time and money. The 900s are great sleds too. I’ve owed 2 of them, but I just really prefer how the 2 stroke drives and responds. This thing can creep around noticeably better than a 900 because you have more control over the track speed, it also has a little more zip on top. I understand why people buy 900s but I’ll still be on 2 strokes for a while.
Hi Andrew , looking to find out about the light on your helmet, that is a light isn't it? or is it a camera? Thanks. I have built a few drags, about to build another one.

It’s just a headlamp. I removed the strap and stuck it on with 2 way tape. Been there since 2018 and hasn’t fallen off yet.
Think you would have been happier with the 600 E-TEC or 900 ACE. 60 hp for that size sled/track is too small in my opinion.
This is the 125hp 600r Etec. It works well. I prefer it over the 900ace. Lighter and has more zip
@@AndrewMilleyPerformance my mistake
Were you still under warranty?
Yes I was! I would have rebuilt it myself last summer at 12300 if I wasn’t
