Thank you so much for creating this comparison. I am in the market to push out a website quickly and I was looking at both of these platforms, you cleared all the confusion!
One important factor for me is the balance between a great platform and the most simplified process for properly collecting sales tax. I know Shopify, eBay, Amazon, etc do that for you. But it’d be nice to utilize a nicer platform like Squarespace
I am using squarespace but the big problem is images crop bad on mobile...there is some code that you can put in but it is hard to do.. Seems like a no brainer to optimise for mobile images....
I created my website through Wix but they changed the template and they wanted me to spend money they bombarded me with emails. I dislike it very much I want to change to square.
This was very helpful. I am just getting into using a website and I feel your descriptions provided enough information for me to make a good choice about which product to choose. Thanks a lot. Great video!
Thank you for this video. Super helpful!!! Do you have a preference for integrating scheduling. We are setting us a massage business. Squarespace have bought and integrate acuity but wix appear to have it all fully integrated
the reason I'm watching this video and I would welcome all feedback here. I'm an illustrator and a photographer. Currently, I have begun setting up the photography using pixieset. My plan is to open up an Etsy store for my art. Because I feel that my art cant fit under the pixeset domain. No matter what I decide I will still keep the Etsy store because I feel that it is the best platform for my art. The question is if I should remove the photo site from Pixieset and open up a Squarespace page or similar to add both my photography and my art on one page as an centralized page to fall back on, where viewers can see my photography, by my art if they want to and also links to the etsy store. All stored in one page. Thoughts on this?
Having having gotten frustrated at the limitations of GoDaddy Website+Marketing and trying Managed Wordpress I wish I had watched this video first. I'll never get the three days of WordPress site building back. It was the option that appeared to get the additional functionality I was looking for but its a massive sledgehammer to crack a small nut and takes a lot of work. Then you find that you have to upgrade your plugins to get the features you want etc so the price can ratchet up too. Now I'm going to take a look at WIX and Squarespace
Metics Media: Very helpful, thank you! I am not a businessperson, and I don't want to market, sell, ship etc. But I do want to provide a link to the business who handles the money and ships. I am hoping that is just a matter of embedding an external link (?) rather than coming under the category of "e-commerce". Do you happen to know?
Hey Simon , I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative, very useful and well-made. I loved your videos. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make highly engaging shorts for you?
Hi, thanks for your clear video. I want to try Squarespace but I am wondering if I can use a local host (MAMP) to install Squarespace and to start to learn to build websites. Could you tell me if that is possible ? Many thanks for your help.
Thank you for this video and content! I’m going to need a UI on my website where users enter a code and get a result-either a no results or a response with data and an associated image. I also want to be able to upload additional codes and images to the database. Other than this, my website will be unsophisticated. What suggestions do you have as far as which website building service do you have?
Hi thank u for review I use WIx,, and I need to host music would there be a cheaper option ? They just need to be able to play samples of my music I think WIx is expensive
Hello, do you know if I can use Wix for several clients? Or I have to have different Wix accounts for each client? For some reason I can’t seem to find these answers anywhere. Thanks again
Thank you for this video. I’m still stuck in between and I don’t know if you can answer this question. I hope you can though. A friend asked to build a website for her bakery just to show some examples of cakes and order cakes. Which platform would you recommend and which plan? I’m currently designing their digital Menu. I feel overwhelmed on choose a plan. I would like to make this as career later on. I’m totally beginner here. Any tips for a newbie? Thanks again. Loving your channel!

To be fair: no website builder worth their salt will be 100% easy (not to say that Wix is worth its salt). The setup, getting used to the platform, theming, etc. takes time and energy, especially if doing so from scratch.
Thanks for the info. I’ve watched your other videos and have tried building sites using godaddy. It works well but kind of limited. The biggest problem I have with Goddy sites is that all sites are managed by the same login. Which of these platforms do you suggest me to try next? Which platform allows additional logins to manage the content, products, services of a particular site and having the main login maintain the layout? If that make sense.
I have a question. If I pay for a domain on one site lets say Wix and later I decide to move my website domain to square, shopify or whatever, can I do that?
Wix is expensive and they internally change things on your ready templates to make you spent more money it’s ridiculous. I think I will chose a simpler way square .
What do you think that Wix internally change things? We have 20+ websites and it never happend. Sometimes (usually after major updates), a few elements may shift slightly, so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on the website. However, there’s nothing major to worry about.
We're looking at "tools" here, and it's mind boggling there's no section on how easy it is to use for beginners. (Afterall, people who are pros of these tools will not be watching these videos as much as beginners).
Great work, are you gonna make a Facebook Ads tutorial for beginners later? I would appreciate it and i liked your google ads previous tutorial, keep up🙏🏻
Many people are complaining about other trader , but I have been investing and trading with Expert Nora for some years now , but she has been nice to me , I never experienced any lose with her trading , 💯💯❤️🩹❤️🩹♥️♥️

Thank you for the comparison. It’s definitely appreciated.
Can you make an updated Google Ads tutorial video? the interface is much more different now...at least for me here in Canada
I tried to go from Wix to Squarespace
The lack of freedom on squarespace drives me fucking crazy.
The layout is good but come on give more flexibility
Hi , If I need open 2 websites , do I have buy only domain or have to buy entire plan in wix ?
Would have liked you to speak to newsletters and capturing addresses. That's why I chose a wix platform even though there is a fee
I am using squarespace but the big problem is images crop bad on mobile...there is some code that you can put in but it is hard to do.. Seems like a no brainer to optimise for mobile images....
yes, I am having hard time dealing with same, I injected multiple CSS script however I am not able to make things work
Subscribed! Thanks for the info
Nice Overview. Agree squarespace is better for beginners or people who dont want to spend too much time on their site.

"If you value a terrible builder use Wix" is what you shouldve said
You are a true professional. Bravo.
Wix is not easy for beginners. I was struggling for hours with header overlap and vow never to use it again.
What did you end up using?
@@TinRapperSquarespace in my opinion was a lot easier to set up a new page and manage

Hey man, thanks for a great comparison! Could you maybe take a look and compare durable with 10web?
I am so confused! Is this video originally in English or another language? It is just my compter that is playing it in Spanish???
