That's just fascinating to watch the carriage do it's thing, and then to see your manual manipulation of the hooks and yarn. I think I skipped to far ahead, or missed something earlier, to see where your React code figures into the work your performing. Great stuff! Thank you for putting this video and the series together!
I used the hold position for the first time last week. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was! Apart from forgetting what part I was meant to do... might need to do a drawing so I know which part I've done.
Awesome tutorial! One thing I'd appreciate clarified is when you bind off the neck line. The instructions have me putting over 50% of the needles on each side into hold for neck/shoulder shaping so there is a middle portion where the stitches are not bound off. I ended up using some extra yarn for it, but I was a bit confused.
This is a very nice t-Shirt, and thank you for your video. If you like to check those gadgets: the KL-116 form knitter, it’s easy to use, and very reliable. Also to check as well the KA 8310 for the finishing , and the KA 8300. maybe you will find them useful as I do. allow me as well : for the top you did, - at the Brest line , you need to knit a dart each side, this bring the length is missing at the front, to have a "straight line" at the hem around your waist line. (I’m a pattern maker) again thank you for the videos you do, you helping me a lot. Greetings from Switzerland
Thank you for the video 💝. I have one question, though: I myself am an A cup on a good day, so I can do with tank tops that are as flat in front as in the back. Even when sewing with knit fabrics, I put in darts if the girls are visible without a microscope. It makes the armholes lay much nicer. Would it be possible to do horizontal darts with short rows or is the weight too strong, pulling holes or something. It seems nobody does horizontal darts so maybe there is a good reason not to do them that I don't know about.
Loving this, can't wait for the next video 👍If you have a wishlist stack once you're done with the yaks, I'd vote for schematics generated alongside the patterns 👀
Hi, 🤗, KnitFactoryImply, I have a question, Since you use a Flatbed Knitting Machines. Does that mean you also have, The Hague Linker machine. I was watching Roberta Rose Meads Hand crank machine & Round Neck Sandwich Band using this machine, too. There's also an Electric kind, too. And was just wondering. Or do you just work "finishing on your Flatbed Knitting Machines? Thank you for answering my question. Blessings go to you from me. 🙂👋, Sincerely, Elsa R. From out in California
I am knitting since years and from my experience I can tell you that, even if you have exactly the same material, every colour reacts different in terms of size and washing. That is unfortunately normal.
Would it be possible to add the neck depth & width adjustments into the crew neck sweater pattern too? 🥺 Thanks so much! I've been on a binge through your back catalogue 😄

Even though it's not what you wanted, it's still a lovely start. I'm excited to see what the full prototype of the dress will look like. Good luck!
Thank you for the resources you’ve been providing the machine knitting community! Your website feels like a wonderful gift! Sending well wishes 😊

I love my machine Silver Reed SK280 . Congratulations for your tutorial

Thanks for these videos! I'm learning a lot along side you! I got a 910 and we want to start the automation project :D
It's nice! Just shape the back armhole as you did for the front, should be allright. The front neckline is awesome!

What do I do if I have a 230kh that only has 110 stitches 😅
can i ask how much the yarn was? everything tends to be overprices these days...

Let me sort out the issues with these modifications and then I'll see if it makes sense.
I like your creations . Maybe you should sell the patterns .
It's more effort than it's worth to package these up and sell them. For now they are free on my website.
