Thank you for this tutorial never attempted a hood on a garment on the knitting machine before, so looking forward to trying this explained to detail video
Ww.O.W. I came here for the hoodie thinking I’d be able to approach the shawl collar I need to build onto a similar jacket with the overlapping bands and I left here with my little beginner MK hair blown back from all the helpful tips! Tension shaping on the fold over hems? Check. Two additional tips on sewing the hem together? Check. Much more efficient/less fussy position technique of the latch tool bind off than I’ve seen before? Check. Add to that how that was accomplished again with careful tension selection for the last two rows. Check. Waste yarn tension tip for picking up live stitches easier (omg, new all day every day thing I’ll be doing!!)? Check. Showing how a linker works plus the sewing thread/again tension trick/waste yarn tip for best results? Check! I don’t have a linker, but wow, this tiny section of watching it work is a sure way to sell me on one! 😂 Add to all of these little gems, your excellent explanation for the decisions and how they effect the garment fit, wear, and shape was so clear and understandable and demonstrable - like careful latch closing sequence to do a pull through hem closing. This video was just so chock full of basic machine knitting tips and tricks that I think it will make all my projects go even better. What a find the algorithm gave me! Subscribing! And thank you - just pure tutorial excellence. Hitting replay....again!!
@@jay_cadiramen That's one thing I could do, however at the moment my machine has gone to the great knitting room up in the sky.... I'm just waiting on my replacement to arrive, hence the delay in video uploads - there's lots of things I have been asked to put on regarding knitting but I am stuck at the moment :-) shouldn't be too much longer though
Ciao, una spiegazione veramente eccey! Grazie. Mi puoi dire che lana hai usato? Mi sembra molto bella dal video. Forse pisso comprarla online dall' Italia. Grazie ancira . A presto
