Hell yeah my boy this is what I'm talking about. The Tyler Goedell throw was really underrated. Aaron rowand catch probably best in that situation that I've ever seen
Lol Molina being like “you good?” After he absolutely lit up chooch. Also, for those who don’t know the play at 8:24 essentially saved the Phillies season in 1950
The Milt Thompson catch was one of the biggest catches in Philly history.I remember thinking to myself if he makes this catch, they are going to the world series. And they did.If he did not catch that ball,Philly history would be vastly different.
In June of 07, I sat down right field line at Shea stadium and watched Victorino throw Delgado out at the plate on a fly ball that took him about 2 steps from warning track. It was a missile.
Love this video! So as I was watching, I kept thinking of plays I'd include and you hit all of them except: Bruntlett triple play (which I'll look for in Part 2), Odubel's catch to end the Hamels no hitter, and the catch Haseley made when he brought the ball back but pretended he didn't. Just saying is all.
Awesome video. The only one that comes to mind not in here is Bruntlett’s unassisted triple play. Not the most impressive play, basically just a liner right at him, but it’s the rarest play in baseball and a walk-off against the Mets to boot
As much as I love the Phillies, I do have to point out that Rose’s catch of the ball popping from Boonie’s glove was not a great play. As Bob Boone said himself, that pop up is the first baseman’s ball- Rose only made what appeared to be a great play because he wasn’t there to make the routine play.
Rollins and Utley were two of the best infielders i've ever seen. They worked so well together, double-plays were automatic for that duo.
The Milt Thompson catch is severely underrated. Saved a grand slam in a close game.
I remember that Tony Barron catch when I was a kid. That must have hurt so badly on the Vet turf.
That turf was just carpet over concrete. It would be like diving on the ground of a finished basement.
Ayee thank you for adding my man Rowand's catch, my all time favorite. Another great video!!
I mean it’s my fucking profile thumbnail, how I forgot that first time around I’ll never know
For who? my teammates. For what? To win. 😏
Philadelphia legend Vince Velasquez

I remember watching that live and my family was all asleep so I had to silently jump around my house 😂
@@JDawg12329 that's all Goodell will be known for lol
@@Eyesabuv yup

I know he’s not a great pitcher but Vince is a god damn athlete.
I still think that left handed throw is one of the most underrated plays ever.
I’m so happy you included the cliff lee catch. Just a perfect overall montage
That Graham Slam tho.
The craziest thing about the great catch Aaron Rowand made is that it didn't even count. The game was eventually rained out.
Wait fr? I don’t remember that part. I’ll never forget the ovation for his first AB back from the DL
@T-MO19 I stand corrected. It was rained out but the game was official after 5 innings.
Keep making these man you deserve more subs

J.t. Realmuto should get his own video.

Great compilation! Good inclusion of plays from lots of different eras.
Needs the Chipper Jones/Eric Kratz collision

I miss your condensed game highlights. These mlb blackouts kill me
Un millón a cada uno
Love your videos man, but no Eric Bruntlett walk off unassisted triple play?
It’ll be in part 2
Oh, nice cliffhanger dude.
Juan Castro to seal Doc’s perfect game? We definitely took that one for granted.

Ope I see your reply on another comment. Looking forward to part two!

safe to say that 2022 will not be adding to this list
If I didn’t know any better, I’d think Vince Velasquez was the best baseball player of all-time 😂 dude has legendary highlights but pretty much sucks
What? No Gary Maddox?
