I met Mike Schmidt at my former Country Club in NJ. He is not a such a nice man, in fact he is an ass. Sorry but it’s the truth. But he had great numbers and is the best third baseman ever to play the game. Harry Kallas made him better!
Those are the sights and sounds of my childhood. Thank you!
Thanks for the mike Schmidt highlights. I've been waiting for awhile but the wait is over.
The GOAT.
Glad to see some defensive plays along with the home runs. Schmidt could do it all.

@@joegotz1971 I have heard he has a reputation for being pretty terse and standoffish with people in general.
Thanks for posting that!! What a pleasure. Your collection brings back many memories! Life time Phillies Phan
So much power out of a short swing.
Great highlight reel ! Brings back memories. Only bad memory was Stamdard Defition TV. 😂
Mike Schmidt was one of the very best. He was talented. He was a great baseball player. He was the G.O.A.T.
Great video - thank you for posting.
I will bet Schmidt’s numbers would be better if he played in Citizen’s Bank Park .
His stats would be stratospheric if he played his home games in Wrigley Field. As a Cubs fan, I can attest to that.
Nah , maybe in a little league park . Why don’t you go make mayonnaise.
With the passing of Willie Mays, Schmidt is the greatest living baseball player. I'm a Mets fan.
Michael was one hell of a 3rd basemen in his day. 10 gold-gloves.
What makes you think he couldn’t outplay the flunkies at third base today ?
He was amazing
