About your shampoo bar: you should cut it up in 3 or 4 pieces, store the ones you are not using, keep the one you are using in a dry space - since you wash your hair twice a month.
This was so inspiring to me. I’ve been searching for ways to add MORE storage to my small bathroom to try and fit everything AND have it look clean and uncluttered. I really need to pare down my stuff. Granted, we have 9 people living here and that makes it hard to be super minimal (because even a minimal amount for 9 people still adds up to a lot), but this gave me lots of great ideas. Thank you!
Towels, you can sew a loop onto any towels. Use narrow grosgrain ribbon. Trash bin: can you pull the wood bit up from the undamaged end and then slide it out of the dented area? Put the lid on the toilet down before you flush.
I bought 6 months ago inexpensive Made by Design bath towels from Target that have hanging loops and they come in nice colors. They also hold up very well.
Hi Rebecca, I absolutely love your videos. I’m slowly catching up on all of them and look forward to the new ones each week. Would you do a video of your favourite online shops for low / zero waste products? I’m trying to avoid Amazon where possible.
Hey Rebecca, I really love the aesthetics of your bathroom, and being some minimalistic I find it so calming. Regarding the toothpaste tube, if you check the little flat lip at the bottom it should have a bb date.
Love watching you. Just discovered you yesterday and I have binge watched your videos haha. I’m slowly moving towards a minimalist lifestyle so thank you for all the great tips!
I know you didn't get into the shower curtain much but it sounded like you have a plastic liner. Look on Amazon or just Google "duck shower curtain like hotels use" - weird search but I bought one that is a poly blend and I am on probably 15 yrs now without buying a new curtain. I wash it every 3 months (or as needed). A great investment. Just thought I'd share that one. (Mine is a cranberry, still bleeds color even after this much time but looks great).
My dog also loves this Bath mat, she was sleeping in the bathroom all the time and didn't want to sleep on her bed anymore, so we gave her a bathmat as a bed and she sleeps on it since. Everybody look at this weirdly, so I have to explain our dog is fine, she just prefers bathmat over her bed 🤷♀️
I started using a cloth peg with a small rope on it and clip it onto the towel :) That way I can hang any towel, even if it doesn't have a hanger (any more).
I hope very much that you’ll create an Amazon store front. I know there is some stink on Amazon, however it’s an amazing resource for those whom live in food deserts and places that don’t have access to sustainable resources. You can even contact them to have all your packages packed responsibly without plastic.
It was a really interesting video. And as for hooks on towels -it's very easy to make it yourself, just sew whatever ribbon or piece of cloth, or braided thick thread on the towel and voila :)
Do you not use bidet clothes? Where do you keep them ( clean ones) and keep them before they are washed ( used ones)? If you haven't done a video on it I would be interested in the logistics of exactly how they whole process works.
How does the bamboo items hold up ? I realize it’s natural but I like more lasting stuff . Although I do like the look of the wood , no doubt it’s looks great.
2:14 you can stitch hooks onto towels. 5:52 no. you are supposed to use your elbow or the top of your hand, not the palm side, to pump the soap, so you don't leave bacteria on top of the liquid soap dispenser. 10:32 yes all toothpaste products expire
I love watching this type of video and have been loving your minimalist home/room tour! Such simple and sweet curation of bathroom and guest room too! You have me relook at south west style :)
Hello Rebecca...I'm Dani. Glad I found your videos, very helpful. I had to go back and watch the shaving of the dreads and I was wondering how long you actually had dreadlocks? I liked you with them, but I think you are beautiful without too. I'm trying to simplify and use more sustainable items and habits, so again...thanks for sharing.
Hi. Great video as usual... Gypsy ❤️.... ....can I ask, what are the matches used for in the bathroom??...maybe there's something I'm missing out of my bathroom routine 🙂
Thanks for sharing! I have been experimenting with shampoo bars and home made shampoo for about 18 months with no joy so far! So my otherwise minimal bathroom is full of random pots of shampoo ingredients!
I don't do any scrubbing or exfoliation in the shower so dry brushing is the best way for my to get rid of dry skin cells (kind of a hold over from when I was living in a van and only showered like once a week). But beyond that it can be really good for circulation and I've noticed a difference in the health / elasticity of my skin for sure. Give it a go!
Wow! You do an amazing job being zero waste in the bathroom. I am also using Dr. Bronner's unscented soap. Is the entire package of the bar soap recyclable? I question the paper inside the package that covers the soap. It seems to me to have a little plastic. Thanks for the video...I love tours.
I love these videos! Your bathroom is perfection, clutter free and serene. Every dog I have had has always stolen my bath mats, I think they like the soft, cottony texture.
I love your channel, Rebbeca! And I also like this type of videos. They inspired me 🙂 I'm having difficulties finding dental floss. What's the brand you use?
I order my dental floss from Lucky Teeth. It's bamboo, free shipping (I think, 99% sure), very reasonably priced, ships fast, glass container w/ metal lid that you refill, no plastic at all in shipping & works great.
I currently use Eco Dent but would not recommend it (more on that in this week's video!). Still on the hunt for one I like. I will give Kathleen's suggesting a try!
Hello! Very interesting video! Where is your razor from? I would like to switch to one of those but can't find anything that doesn't look masculine :c Hugs!
I'm not currently using any products in my hair. When it was a bit shorter I was using a DIY flaxseed gel, but at this length I'm not finding any products necessary.
Thanks so much for watching! If you like this room tour type of content let me know so I can keep it going!
Yes I like it!
I like these types of videos 😁
Yes 😀 and I miss Murphy!
Yes! Please do more!
I like these videos Rebecca. Your place is so lovely and neat! 💕
About your shampoo bar: you should cut it up in 3 or 4 pieces, store the ones you are not using, keep the one you are using in a dry space - since you wash your hair twice a month.
Good idea, thank you!
You can sew a piece of fabric or ribbon on your towels to hang them. It should just take a couple of minutes sewing by hand
This was so inspiring to me. I’ve been searching for ways to add MORE storage to my small bathroom to try and fit everything AND have it look clean and uncluttered. I bought a wooden ear pick to use instead of cotton swabs. The name is weird but they work great. I have not purchased cotton swabs in 2 years.
Towels, you can sew a loop onto any towels. Use narrow grosgrain ribbon.
Trash bin: can you pull the wood bit up from the undamaged end and then slide it out of the dented area?

Added to the list! Stay tuned :)
I love your bathroom and it's minimal content - such an inspiration!
love you and all your content!! Tours always inspire me to declutter and take minimalism a step further. And hugs for gypsy!!
Gypsy says thank you :)
I know this is a really old video but love it! Would be interested in any updates on your eco bathroom products as I am switching a lot of ours over.
I love these types of videos too! I really your bamboo cleaning brushes, they work both for cleaning and a bit of decoration! Love the aesthetic!
Thank you!
Love the shower curtain with the vanity. Soothing vibes.
Hey Rebecca, I really love the aesthetics of your bathroom, and being some minimalistic I find it so calming. Regarding the toothpaste tube, if you check the little flat lip at the bottom it should have a bb date.
I like these kinds of videos, Rebecca. :) I also love your outtakes at the end! LOL
Thanks for sharing. Useful video.
Kind greetings from Switzerland,
where our weather is cooling down.
In preparation for a cold and snowy
winter.
Also do you have any links for where you got the things mentioned in the video? Thanks!
You can find a lot of zero waste things on Amazon
I love these types of videos. Keep them coming 😀
Thank you Rebecca! Love these types of videos
Just found your channel and loving the minimalist inspo✨

Thank you! Yes, we have a cloth liner, I just throw it in the washer about 1x per month.
LOL glad to know Gypsy is not alone :)
The headband looks great!
I started using a cloth peg with a small rope on it and clip it onto the towel :) That way I can hang any towel, even if it doesn't have a hanger (any more).
I use my Hollywood tape container to put bandaids in to bring when I'm hiking
Love this!
Aww your head band is so cute!
Thank you!
Definitely trying those toothpaste bites, looks like a easy minimal swap!
OMG I got a shampoo bar and I absolutely love it. Thanks for the tip ❤
Yay! I'm glad you like it!

I wonder, how often do you have to do loundry? I love having lot's of cotton towels and wash clothes.
Lovely products xx
Good news: It's super simple to sew hooks into towels! Cheap + easy and you can get whatever towels you want xD
It was a really interesting video. And as for hooks on towels -it's very easy to make it yourself, just sew whatever ribbon or piece of cloth, or braided thick thread on the towel and voila :)
I really need to work on acquiring some sewing skills!
Do you not use bidet clothes? Where do you keep them ( clean ones) and keep them before they are washed ( used ones)? If you haven't done a video on it I would be interested in the logistics of exactly how they whole process works.
I know this comment is random but I’m Loving your hair!!! 😍
Thank you for saying that! It's at a really awkward stage, hence the bandana!
I love your towels what size did you get?
How does the bamboo items hold up ? I realize it’s natural but I like more lasting stuff . Although I do like the look of the wood , no doubt it’s looks great.
Love this definitely helpful to see what low waste products are out there! I will be making a switch once the things I have are used up! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching.
I love the ribbon on your head in this video! It looks really flattering 😊
Aw, thank you! I'm in a pretty awkward growing out phase so the bandana helps!
2:14 you can stitch hooks onto towels. 5:52 no. you are supposed to use your elbow or the top of your hand, not the palm side, to pump the soap, so you don't leave bacteria on top of the liquid soap dispenser. 10:32 yes all toothpaste products expire
before I bought Ikea towels, I just add tabs to the towels I already owned 😁
I love watching this type of video and have been loving your minimalist home/room tour! Such simple and sweet curation of bathroom and guest room too! You have me relook at south west style :)
Thank you! I'm totally loving desert neutrals right now.
I would place the bars of soap in the shower on a holder or wash cloth. They must get messy when wet.
Just found your channel and I’m obsessed
Yay! Thank you :)
I super enjoyed this, thank you :)
That’s such a cool match set! Where is it from??
New pillow on the couch!
You noticed!! :)
Where did you get your trash can? I love it.
Great video.....like this type!
Your channel is so cool! I love your energy and take on the whole thing. Excited to have found you and be subscribed!!
Love the bandana in your hair! Super cute :)
Aw, thank you!
Soooo inspiring!!
I really liked this video gave me motivation to declutter MORE and buy zero waste instead. 👌🏻
Love the room tours!
I really liked this video and would love to see how you keep things low waste while backpacking.
expiration dates for tubes like paste are on the crimped edge of the tube.
Hi. Great video as usual... Gypsy ❤️....
....can I ask, what are the matches used for in the bathroom??...maybe there's something I'm missing out of my bathroom routine 🙂
We live in a small house with one bathroom and sometimes smelly things happen in there. Lighting a match gets rid of any smells instantly!
first one I've seen that is actually minimal
Thanks for sharing! I have been experimenting with shampoo bars and home made shampoo for about 18 months with no joy so far! So my otherwise minimal bathroom is full of random pots of shampoo ingredients!
I've been researching how to make my own for when this bar eventually runs out. Can't wait to try!
You should be able to buy replacement blades for your sharpener at a local art supply store (not big box store).
Please let me know where did you get your razor?
How do you like that mascara?
I love bath sheets! They just engulf you 😁. Enjoyed the tour
Cant you sew something on the towels? Or ask someone who can do it for you? So you can choose de towels you like
Love it, keep on keeping on! 😁
I’m new here and loving your videos. I also love the outtakes 😂.
Big lots sells the wooden qtips for only a dollar and it's a much bigger container
I sew a ribbon on my towels to hang on the hook.
I really need to learn some sewing skills!
Just wondering why you use qtips rather than the ear spoon?
4:59 Oooooorrrrrr . . . you could use the lid on the WC - close it before flushing! 12:46 Dear Gypsy!😘
Always love your videos
Thank you Reanna!
Have a dry brush, but have never gotten into the habit of using it. What are the benefits you see (if any)? Convince me, please!
Give it a go!
side note question: the ring on your right pointer finger, may I ask where you got it? I'm in love!
I love the idea of coconut oil to moisturise. I think I’ll try that. Do you use a deodorant? If so, which one? 🙂
I gave up deodorant a few years ago. My body has totally adjusted and I really don't miss it!
I love it!
Wow! You do an amazing job being zero waste in the bathroom. I am also using Dr. Bronner's unscented soap. Is the entire package of the bar soap recyclable? I question the paper inside the package that covers the soap. It seems to me to have a little plastic. Thanks for the video...I love tours.
I've put the entire package of the Dr. Bronners soap in the compost without issue.
Ok so how do you feel about bar soap holding bacteria?
Where did you get the rectangular brush next to the toilet? Just what I need to clean my tub and shower.
I believe the brush is by Redecker.
More greetings from Switzerland. Adore you and your videos!! Woof
Where can I find both brushes ?
Great video but why do you keep matches in the bathroom? Thanks ❤
Yep, just what Pamela said. Gets rid of odors immediately when smelly things happen in there :)
Loved it
and how and with what do you clean your bathroom?
Gypsy is so cute ☺️
AGREED!! :)
Girlfriend! Where did you get those matches???
I need that match jar, STAT!
I LOVE it. My exact one is not available anymore, but there are similar options here: www.farmhousepottery.com/collections/strikers
Thanks so much!!
hello, where's the pouch with hair stuff from (6:55) ? thanks
It was a gift from my sister but I believe she got it from Four Sigmatic.
So where did you get the shower curtain? I messed you on Instagram. But doesn’t seem to be active. Please help:))))
Link to your bathroom trash bin would be appreciated.
I love these videos! Your bathroom is perfection, clutter free and serene. Every dog I have had has always stolen my bath mats, I think they like the soft, cottony texture.
Glad to know Gypsy is not alone!

Thanks Kathleen! I'm gonna have a look at it. 😊
Thanks, Rebecca! Can't wait to see the next video!
Thx you darling love your videos
Hello! Very interesting video! Where is your razor from? I would like to switch to one of those but can't find anything that doesn't look masculine :c Hugs!
The brand is Edwin Jagger. I got it several years back but I think you should still be able to find it!
Fuck yeah, me love a minimalist bathroom
I love your videos
Hi! New Follower here! Really enjoyed the tour! I too love to see room tours!! :-)
Thank you for subscribing! Next up is a bedroom makeover...stay tuned :)
You said you wash your hair every 2 weeks. Do you use any products in your hair?
I'm not currently using any products in my hair. When it was a bit shorter I was using a DIY flaxseed gel, but at this length I'm not finding any products necessary.
The bath matt is with the towel. 😮💨😅
