@@dejo5009 Really? So……it was coaching? Well you are entitled to your opinion. Let me clue you in. Strength was the biggest factor. Yes Gable is a monster but he was young. Execution. All the coaching in the world will not help if you cannot execute. Gable is pound for pound one of the 3 best wrestlers in the world. Not this year. AC was better. Twice. Your arrogance and ignorance is forgiven.

Maybe... OR maybe not. Not wrestling inspired Cassar to become the 285 champ..had he wrestled in 2018 instead of Rasheed he may not have ever won an NCAA title.

great win for Cassar, but props for White making it this far as a heavyweight. Many people may not know this but Derek actually started out at 115 going into highschool but bumped up to heavyweight, he adjusted well to the weight and did fantastic at OK, sucks he couldn't bring home the national title but props for him for being a top contender for that long. Can't wait to see more of him in freestyle

Cassar was stronger, had a better game plan and had intelligence. Gable is a monster no doubt. Unfortunately he wrestles for the wrong school. If he went to Penn State he would never lose a match. @@seealexrun7649 This is not in dispute. The potential in Gable is unstoppable. Cassar in now out of wrestling with permanent damage to his shoulder. If Gable went to Penn State he would not have lost. Maybe ever. And Gable is an arrogant prick. Which is not an uncommon characteristic of a hard headed young man with his talent. If he LISTENS to his coaching and puts forth serious training Gable has Kerilien talent. (Excuse the spelling if incorrect). Wrestling fans and critics do not understand how good Cael, his staff and how well the Penn State wrestlers train and study their craft. Then post this guano.

@@dohcsmr1175 well his take down was by ripping the head gear almost off. Also a 18 year old vs a 24/25 year old. Cassar was roided to the gills ( yes 40 pounds of muscle in a year is roids ) and ncaa only test once at the start of the season and very easy to pass. Cael is the greasiest coach ever no doubt but Cael didn’t have the best heavyweight that year.

The failure to implement anti-trust law against monopolies (like big pharma/insurance) is the problem. Corporate monopolies on every level have destroyed private enterprise and free market competition. Globalism is the goal. The further we as individuals give away our autonomy to governing bodies and collectives, the less our voice will be heard.
