Witt Lowry is my favorite rapper by far, I find that when it comes to the relationship subject, I connect with his stuff a lot more because it's so specific and not vague like that mainstream stuff out there nowadays: but I especially connect with his stuff that questions the arts/entertainment industry. I'm a freelance artist of another trade, not music, but the things he talks about in regards to self sacrifice for profit vs passion is what resonates with me- that whole idea of,...if we aren't pursuing our passion/mission for life, is that even living? That concept is presented in Piece of Mind 3 and 4, Numb, Blood in the Water, etc. He may rap about relationship stuff more than anything else, but I commend him for doing that because he's literally putting his bleeding and bruised heart out there for the world, it's breaking down the stereotypes and stigmas of how men are not supposed to show emotions; dude, I want men to feel more comfortable with showing their emotions, they are valid too. To quote a line of his from his song Numb, "It's funny how I'm weak if I tell them that I have feelings."
