The actor who played Walker's foe in this scene is Aki Aleong, and although he has Chinese heritage, he is actually Trinidadian-born. I have seen him play many Asian nationalities in shows and films. He is also a singer.
See, it's always more interesting when the hero can't take EVERY foe out just by practically breathing on them. Walker had to work for that victory. Too bad Seagal didn't learn that lesson early on in his film career. It would've been more fun for the audience.
Screwface at the end of Marked for Death gave Seagal a pretty decent fight, but in most of his other movies yea you're right. It got old and boring after a while.
Also Richie from Out for Justice, even tho he didn't get a lot of offense off he was a ferocious crackhead who could take a Mick Foley amount of abuse!! It took punches, kicks, knees, a frying pan, a window, a pizza roller, a wall and finally a corkscrew to finish the friggin guy!!
Hopkido not aikido. To my knowledge Chuck Norris is heavy into the Korean martial arts hapkido borrows heavily from Aikido and Judo/ jiu jitsu and a few of the throws look similar. just my opinion
@@akimlettner2984 wrong, Chuck Norris is a grandmaster of many styles of martial arts, like, shotokan karate, kenpo karate, tang soo do karate, tae kwon do, judo and brazillian jiu jitsu, he also learned jeet kune do from the late Bruce lee, he is also an expert in boxing and kickboxing

This isn't the first time Aki Aleong has worked with Chuck Norris. They both worked together in a film called "Braddock: Missing In Action 3", where Aleong plays a ruthless Vietnamese general who kills Braddock's wife and holds orpaned Ameraisian children hostage.
Those are some really hard falls they did...I learned how to fall in hapkido it has saved me at least 3 times when I've taken some hard falls onto concrete. I didn't get hurt.
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was standing in opposition to me for twenty-one days. Then, behold, Michael, one of the chief [of the celestial] princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia
Brez brade in brkov, si čisto drugačen, namenoma !

To be honest that could've gone either way. They were both equal to each other and that's something Chuck never dealt with before hand. Please don't bring up the fight with him and Bruce Lee. I don't care . I wasn't impressed
feel these kind of episode storylines through the SCREEN. Old friendships TRULY die so hard and SOOOO painfully. In real life, too.
Of all the Walker: Texas Rangers fight scenes, this is his best one.

Serious? Aki Aleong is a trinidad born?
That's not Aki Aleong
@@MrBruce5437 He is, just had a look at it myself! Remember him from Missing in Action 3 as well!
He is in Kuffs with Christian Slater too!
I like the realism. He fought a great fighter and it was close, but Walker won.😁
Weird those parts with a stunt double they didn't even bother hiding a little bit
That was a helluva fight scene...

😎
I love the fight scenes.
Me too.
What a big epic fight!
Simply Chuck Norris the best martial arts.
well put!
He is a fake
@Adam Mody I would tap or submit him on the ground if I take him down but he is probably a very oldman now so it wouldn’t be fair anyway.
My Sister AnA Would of Destroyed him and Any Man in Combat. It doesn't take her long. Never lost a Fight to Anybody. By by Chuckie
The first foe of the series to give Walker problems in a fight. Good fight scene 👍👊(even if half of it is done with stunt doubles).
Haha...they sure used stunt double big time in this one!
@A Franks85 wonder why chuck would need a stunt double for the spin side kicks,he can easily still do them back then?
@@paulsmith9192 cause he would kill a man and get sued easily. He was once bitten by a cobra...after 3 grueling painful days...the Cobra died!

Yeah... I agree with you there about Seagal.
One person who disliked it, was later found himself destoryed by the hands of Chuck Norris.

Wait, you imply that the dislikers were found 🤔
That was a nice flying kick at 3:50!!

I love this show..
Not gonna lie. When the opponent did his stance before engaging Walker, he resembled Kuai Liang in MK11 and the way his stance looks before the fights
I like the music during the fight
One of if the badass fight from Walker not to mention the badass background music

karate, aikido, taw kwon do and wrestling....all in one! 😂

Yoshi's pretty damn good
Black Eagle Jean Claude Van Damme versus Sho Kosuki . Good batlle. Good scène.
Shouldn’t they have at least take their jackets off.... never thought Chuck used a stunt man... LOL.
What does he mean by "I must do what I must do??"
That's probably not Chuck Norris doing the fight if the shot is at a distance and shows the back of him, obviously it being a Stunt Double.
Half of this is Chucks stunt double.
Why ruin perfectly classy suits !!! ? 😁!!! Good " simulated" fight scene !!! Cedric N is an authentic Martial artist !!!
Fun fact: This is me and my brother play fighting.
Might've been in the company contract to use stunt doubles at times to protect the star
you mean use chuck norris to protect the stunt doubles
Awesome episode wow

Chuck is doubled in almost all his fight scenes. He is a very limited screen fighter.
Yoshi and walker the toughest
