Wow! This is 1 of the most beautiful songs I ever heard. The piano goes perfect to not overwhelm it yet just add a smooth melody to back up Jeff’s iconic vocals. Great work. My uncle Gary Lucas composed Jeff Buckley Grace and Mojo Pin. I patented a new guitar fretboard where you can pull strings over fretcorner into groove channels. Many famous guitarists such as Jeff Buckley do this technique on the high E string over fretcorner. Watch Jeff Buckley Live in Chicago on the Hallelujah solo part. Jeff uses 2 hands and does FretCorner vibrato where the edge plucks the string to create infinite sustain. My invention evolved that style to allow it on any string either up or down. Being a Buckley fan you’d be stoked to learn about that. The solo was well received at show and got a standing ovation. I’d like to hear more Jeff Buckley covers with piano keys 🎹 🎙🎶🙌🏽
I watched the DVD like it was church, and I have been telling people Gary Lucas is a guitar God, and Jeff is the ultimate for me, not for prowess so much as soul, and omg, Gary is your uncle? Hands down when people ask me my fave guitarists.. Jeff Buckley, Gary Lucas, Drew Goddard... can you please tell your uncle that She is Free is the song I want played at my funeral? Because that guitar work has its own vibe that fills my soul.. and Strawberry Street ran rancid through my 17yr old mind many years ago! 😅❤
