Seamless transition takes a lot of hardware processing power. As I'm sure you realise a software update cannot do what you're asking but there are ways to get round the fx transitions by using combinations and turning parts on and off as required. For the price the KROSS is an amazing synth and still has the most powerful sequence editing I know of in a workstation
Question: I already have the M1 library on my Krome. Am I able to have both the M1 and Triton libraries in at once?
can it also work on the Krome Ex series?

Theodore Whitehurst I couldn't agree more! I play live at churches etc and if this offered seamless transition, it'll be the best kept secret. But I get it, they can't throw all the bells and whistles in one instrument. I'm just glad that they added the M1 & Triton! It improved the Krome so much by doing so!
Improved the Krome with older M1 presets??? I ca'nt follow. I have a real M1 and it's a dated machine if you stay with the overused signature presets. M1 gets intresting once you explore the hundreds of beautifull user programs and combi's available on the net. But what did Korg gave us for the Krome? Exactly, the dull factory presets of the M1 :-(( This does not do any good or justice to the great sounding Krome. But that's my opinion ;-)
Rik Vanhoenacker LOL I understand and agree w/you. The Krome is a phenomenal instrument but ... it's not the Kronos. I eventually sold my Krome and saved up for the Kronos. They're certain things I like about the Krome that the Kronos fall short in. For example, the Krome 88 is much more lightweight in comparison to the Kronos 88. It's also still lighter than the LS Kronos. The navigation around the Krome is easier and the option for Micro/SD card etc r pluses. However, it was the seamless transition that forced me to go for the Kronos. I play live and that's critical for me. I did upload the M1 & the Triton sounds to my previous Krome, and I enjoyed it but they're r M1 sounds already in the Kronos that's more in the HD definition.
Those sounds are great if you want to go down memory lane what about creating some new sounds for Krome that haven't been overly used for music production.So we can make our own 2018 greatest hits on records. Let Korg know that we bought the Krome, the Tr, the trinity, the M50, the trident Le now we want some new brand new sounds for the Korg Krome.

There is free software called Kromatic, which allows you to load your own samples into Krome, which gives endless possibiites for sound!
Why don't they release an expansion of the Korg N364 for Krome?

GREETINGS.......Please, are these great offers available for the NEW Korg Krome EX.
I know the lack of seamless sound transition with Krome Ex is still an issue, I'm waiting to receive mine.
But, on my faithful Roland D-50 if you keep the FX settings the same for patches, it will not glitch when changing sounds, the reverb/delay remains constant.
So, maybe changing between Krome patches that have exactly the same FX patch might solve the problem?

My ac adapter will not connect into my Korg Krome 73. It used to fastsen, but now it looks like it was ripped out. Any suggestions? How can I fix this?

i had triton extreme with Moss Board . Is the Moss board sounds work with this expantion with krome keyboard ????
I downloaded the M1 and Triton pack, loaded the M1 pack onto my Korg Krome (bank E) and got all those wonderful old M1 sounds. Then loaded the Triton pack and lost all the M1 sounds. I assume that I can't load both M1 and Triton sounds at the same time.
The M1 pack uses actual audio samples to create the patches, but there is no sample data for the triton pack (just pcg.) So memory space shouldn't be an issue.
Try loading the M1 pack into bank F, and the Triton pack to E

Why is the Universe program in mono? The M1 wasn't one of the best selling keyboards of all time, it WAS the best selling keyboard of all time selling over 250000 units between 1988 and 1993 when it was finally discontinued.
