I have a Krome 88 and 61 - that's how much and how good this keyboard is to me. I think this Keyboard shines just as well as the Kronos and a lot of folks would be hard pressed to tell the difference especially in live performance. Recording there is a slight difference with some of the sounds, but not too much. All in all, I am incredibly pleased and impressed with this keyboard. I feel that Korg really hit one out of the park with this keyboard. I also have the Roland FA-06 and trust me there is no comparison, as I think the Krome totally outshines the FA-06 - in almost every category. I am selling my FA-06. The Krome performs really well in my studio next to the Motif XS6. The Krome Combi mode is spectacular - and really well thought out arpeggiator system. The one pattern he demonstrates is about 10 minutes in to this video is what I use for a song that I have. Just an amazing keyboard. In my studio, I have Roland A-90 which is the best controller ever made. The Krome 88 is much lighter that makes a big difference for me when gigging. Just my two cents.

You are super cold blooded⛄️I watch these videos just to hear you play, you could play for anybody!! I'm thinking about purchasing a Krome, I've owned a Triton and a O1wfd in the past and it looks like you get around the same way, and that's what I like about KORG consistancy.

Best demo video of the Krome I found. I'm really glad I saw this as I was getting ready to buy a Krome for my son but didn't realize the model was 8 years old.
Great video and playing. A superb value, and very high quality sounds, especially loved that old Scritti Politti tease. You Tube however, is getting really carried away with the ads. They were flat out OBNOXIOUS, throughout the entire video.

Damn good keyboardist. I can most definitely tell that you've done your homework on Korgs.. I still play a Korg Karma, after watching you I'm gonna have to dig a little deeper into that board.. seems like Korg doesn't throw anything away, they just add more on every new board..

I have 3 different workstations, a peavey DPM 3, a Roland RS - 70 and Roland JX - 305! They are great in their own right! I’ve been thinking about getting the Krome because it’s editing is much like editing in Cubase which I’ve been using since the first version of SX but I like the Kross 2 and the Yamaha MOXF 6! It’s a hard decision to choose one!! Still deciding!!
Does the Krome have a built in audio interface like some of the Yamaha keyboards? For example, my MX49 has a audio interface which makes it a pleasure to use with a DAW. I couldn't find this info in the Krome specs. Does anybody know?
I have just bought an M50 and a Korg Krome, the M50 is still my goto synth (apart from my MOXF) which i've yet to find a synth to beat in terms of portability and functionality. Krome is still nice, but after some tests (no idea why) but it seems the DA converters on the M50 are sounding better quality, like OASYS and M3 - just wondering does anyone know if the DA converters are in fact totally different, I'm pretty sure the Kronos would have very decent components, my ears can definitely tell the difference....great synth just keep going back to my M50 just not sure why! btw Luke loving your demos by the way!

Can I record backing tracks to use during a live set? I play both piano and drums but I need something that will play my synth/piano parts while I drum.

I have 3 different workstations, a peavey DPM 3, a Roland RS - 70 and Roland JX - 305! They are great in their own right! I’ve been thinking about getting the Krome because it’s editing is much like editing in Cubase which I’ve been using since the first version of SX but I like the Kross 2 and the Yamaha MOXF 6! It’s a hard decision to choose one!! Still deciding!!

Does the Krome have a built in audio interface like some of the Yamaha keyboards?
For example, my MX49 has a audio interface which makes it a pleasure to use with a DAW. I couldn't find this info in the Krome specs. Does anybody know?

I have just bought an M50 and a Korg Krome, the M50 is still my goto synth (apart from my MOXF) which i've yet to find a synth to beat in terms of portability and functionality. Krome is still nice, but after some tests (no idea why) but it seems the DA converters on the M50 are sounding better quality, like OASYS and M3 - just wondering does anyone know if the DA converters are in fact totally different, I'm pretty sure the Kronos would have very decent components, my ears can definitely tell the difference....great synth just keep going back to my M50 just not sure why! btw Luke loving your demos by the way!

I have a Kronos and i do not understand why Korg has chosen to give a beter user interface to the Krome.
I'd rather have the live set list from the Kronos...much more convenient.

yo Man ik you commented a year ago but on polish UA-cam there is a guy who explained generally that (88) hammer weighted keyboards are better because you can get more realistic piano effect, especially when samples are recorded with that realistic probably bad explanation but yea you probably understood what I meant about
how do you get the hammer sound on the E Piano, we move all 4 knobs from the preset and no change to hammer sound.
this looks sooo much easier compared to my Triton LE work station. I still haven't figured it out....yet

hello, i would like to know where i could find or buy the combi and sampler that show on this video, because i buyed a korg krome and the Banks sounds to programs and combi are very bads. I have a Triton Studio too and the combi and programs sounds are wow amazing.:)
Can I record backing tracks to use during a live set? I play both piano and drums but I need something that will play my synth/piano parts while I drum.
