I've tried copying my own garments and it was fun. I made a dress and a jacket, not very good construction so now I am focusing on well made garments. I had the same problem! Need a zipper on the skirt otherwise it won't get past my hips or shoulder. I also had to make the skirt longer. Your finished dress looks lovely!

@@LUcyaSews How do you guys add a zipper? Does it need a facing or a waistband in this particular dress? I need a zipper for this dress, but I'm not sure about how to proceed with this design.
I think you could add zipper by dividing back part into two+ adding aditional 2cm for seam allowance for zipper. Or you could make side zipper too.
It doesn’t need facing or waistband , just make sure that you add seam allowance for zipper if you decide to split peace in half. I tried to be clear with an explanation but If I wasn’t succesfull just ask more questions, we are here to help to one another 😊

Hmm that’s interesting 🤔 I just checked again and it is still available for free . Are you sure tou download correct file? Because there are few file like instructions, and patterns in A4 and A0 format and some other things
