I oddly think that is a lovely bit of kit, I am too much of a gamer to by an all in one, but for anyone who wants a real minimal PC approach, that's a great buy

Huawei PCs are really underrated. Their laptops are great and markedly cheaper too. Unlike other PC companies Huawei routinely use metal in their cheaper models too.
Hello, a Belgian supporter of your reviews. Thanks again for your nice and honest explanations. I prefer a laptop + monitor. Until last week, an iMac 27inch late 2015 was my workstation. For outdoor use, an MBP 16 inch 2019 is my device. As soon as I got home, my MBP was turned off in favor of the iMac. A 5K screen is really a luxury. Now I got a nice price for my iMac and bought an Apple Studio Display. Super easy. Plug in one plug and everything can continue on a large screen. When I replaced my iMac, I was still hesitant about choosing the new iMac 24 inch, but since I had been using a 5K 27 inch for 6 years, I opted for the new Apple Studio Display. Think that it will last 10 years and during this period only have to renew my laptop. Don't think there is any future for large all-in-one computers.
I've considered getting an All-in-one for my father, since he could do with a larger screen than what a laptop can provide, and only requires one for basic operations.
This is actually an amazing product. I would totally buy this for my mother and her business. She doesn’t wanna carry a laptop and doesn’t want to have a desktop and a monitor at her desk, so this aio is actually amazing, especially that entry model. Great find!
Honestly this AIO is missing 3 things from being a banger for a majority of people(including myself) 1. Ryzen 6000 series, the graphics boost would be perfect for gaming at 1080p 2. High Refresh Rate 120hz, DP 1.4 support. 3. Better webcam. I like what they’ve done so far and it’s great to still end up with a computer and a 4K+ display in case you wanted to connect something else to the display.
@@bradavon 1 and 2 would open the market to those who want more up-to-date performance though, as it will help ease getting a 120hz display (which may help with eye-strain for productivity), as well as offer an option to play some games lightly at 1080p when you’re done for the day. It may not be used all the time but the option of having it in a computer than cannot be upgraded is much better than not. You’re argument is like saying “Why would it need a touchscreen? This is how to use the MateStation X as a monitor, 1. Right-click on the computer's desktop and choose Use as monitor from the shortcut menu. In the displayed dialog box, turn on the switch for this feature. 2. Use a USB-C to USB-C cable that supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 and DisplayPort 1.2 or later to connect the computer to an external device that supports display, data transmission, and charging.

I would definitely buy an AIO since it's the best way to keep the space organized. I'm stuck with a Lenovo A730 from 2013. Check out the A730 and the Mac Studio. It's ironic that Lenovo designed the A730 to compete with Apple's iMac 27 and now Apple used the A730 to design the Mac Mini and Mac Studio :-) The Huawei looks amazing but is missing a GPU which it should have included for the price or at least offered as an option. Granted, cooling it would have been an issue given its minimalist design but that's the whole point of an AIO. The screen and design are outstanding but that's how all AIOs should look like unless the computer was designed at lunchtime on a napkin. If you can't design a new beautiful AIO then copy Apple's new iMac. HP offers 2 high-end AIOs, a 32 and 34 inch model, but they both have stability issues which means you stand a chance of losing the computer within a year or going through months of having no computer (been there done that, no thank you). The panel for upgrading the HDD and RAM on the Envy34 is ingenious and HP does offer very high-end options which makes the stability even more of an issue when the PC can cost for as much as 3,000-4,000. It could end up as the most expensive book-end you've owned. HP needs to offer a 10-year next-day replacement program. Lenovo has just brought back the 700 series (my model) in the form of the Yoga AIO 7 but the rotational display is a bit unnecessary and impacts the design. I do wonder what they could have achieved if they invested the time and effort from the hinge into the chassis and cooling. I also can't customize it with 32GB of RAM and it's taken 1.5 years to reach the States. DELL used to always offer a XPS AIO and in some years, their models were a powerhouse. I bought a cheap AIO for my daughter but it's not a software development machine by any means. ASUS used to be Huawei but their designs and configurations for AIOs are as fresh as the Sony PSP and bottom out at 27 inches Full HD. Not sure why the AIO market is so bad compared to 10 years ago.

I think you meant to say MacBook, Tom, when you mentioned the iMac has a 16:10 aspect ratio. It would be awesome if it did, or better yet, if the studio display was 16:10. Unfortunately though, those are 16:9 displays. Just figured I'd point that out (though I'm sure you caught that you misspoke when you said iMac instead of MacBook during your edit). Have a great day.

Only thing is that I missed the option of the second screen so I ended up connecting a monitor to it anyway. Definitely would like to see more all in ones. Fingers crossed Microsoft gets around to releasing that surface studio 3….
Yeah exactly and it's only one cable. A laptop and display ultimately makes more sense. I get Apple users like to own multiple devices but it seems expensive and overkill to me. Using Thunderbolt 3-4 you can even use the monitor cable to power the laptop too.
@@bradavon my old MacBook needed to be plugged in separately for it to connect to a monitor. Question about the Mateview monitor. Does the USB C power port on the back, pass through anything other than power? Like if I were to plug a USB C dongle into the port and then plug an hdmi cable into the dongle, would I get video displayed? (Monitor would still be on wall power through the dongles pass through USB C). I love the monitor, but I dont like having things stick out on the side ports.
I don’t think it was on this vid but I’m having a hard time remembering which one….but it was like a hub device that you were using, it was thick and had. “R” or “P” on it to connect to the laptops. What was that called?
Can't wait for an AIO with a 6000 series Ryzen CPU with the RDNA2 iGPU. It would be significantly better. Might even make for an excellent entry level gaming PC.
You've demonstrated why Apple should never add touch to iMacs & why does Apple get castigated for 720p webcams but everyone else is fine? Hopefully this will see software engineered for unified/APU architecture as this will benefit all integrated products and break the discrete hardware stranglehold.

I want a slim and light laptop with good performance for - video photo editing, web dev, coding. Does it have an Ethernet port, or is it wifi only?
Heyyy!
Hello you're my favorite!
I just need to know what kind of camera do you use for this video !
if it is $500, I will give a try
Question about the Mateview monitor. Does the USB C power port on the back, pass through anything other than power? Like if I were to plug a USB C dongle into the port and then plug an hdmi cable into the dongle, would I get video displayed? (Monitor would still be on wall power through the dongles pass through USB C). I love the monitor, but I dont like having things stick out on the side ports.
The reason people look for an iMac alternative is to find a good alternative at half the price. Not the same price.
What are you talking about... Touch on a device like this is awesome
@@Dare2Blink I'm talking about real touch not the token touch of Windows. Sustaining that position is nonsense.
What's wrong with 16:10?! Just such an odd aspect ration on such a large screen. Too weird for me to consider, sadly
Really almost mistaken this for the Mateview Monitor
Hi, Appreciate your work man, just got a question hope you reply..
I’m planning to get galaxy book 2 pro 15 inch. I want a slim and light laptop with good performance for - video photo editing, web dev, coding. This machine doesn’t have any dedicated graphics but its 12th gen, would it suffice my needs *AND*
I also found Galaxy book Odyssey, it has dedicated graphics 3050ti with 11th gen chip at the same price range. But there is no proper review for the Odyssey and I am sceptical about it because it has less publicity and people got some issues in it. Is it a good device to consider than Book 2 pro?
Aio is very difficult segment. Only business appeal. Pro prefer mac studio plus monitor ie pro version of aio
Zen 4 is what people should wait for.
Please review lenovo aio 7 in detail with performance
Alluminiammo or plastic?
Can this be used as a monitor?
Hi Tom, this is too expensive. It’s more expensive than the mid range IMac. Not worth it in my opinion.
Can u use it with a stylus?
Why do so few manufacturers make ultra-wide screen all-in-one computers? Bigger the screen means they have bigger interior for better hardware.
True! Small market I guess.
对于不需要M1级别性能的办公用户还是非常好用的,高分辨率和3:2 的屏幕对于我这种常年制作表格的用户很友好。
Please note these are not available in the U.S. 😩
Hey man. Great video. Almost had me convinced lol
Just buy a screen and attach a mini pc to the back ......save $500....but alas no touchscreen !
