Kanazawa is really nice, I love going there! I recently moved to Anamizu Noto-Peninsula from Germany. It’s hard to see all the damage and loss from the earthquake 😢 I work as a volunteer 3 days a week and hope I can contribute at least a bit to help rebuild beautiful Noto peninsula!❤

Hi Moe-san, Sutan-chan and Moto-san, I'm from Malaysia. I got the chance to visit Kanazawa in 2017 for a few days. I really want to go there again. Higashi-chaya and Kenrokuen were magnificient. Even though it's quite hard to find halal food there, it's ok I could bring packaged travel food. Hopefully, I will win the accommodation gift 😍
Who could not love this family? Such love is obvious there. And with an upcoming superstar in Sutan, I am not afraid to say I get disappointed when she isn’t in the videos. That kid has enough character as 10 kids combined. Watching her grow up before our eyes is a gift. Love you guys!
we stayed in this hotel when we went to Kanazawa. It was so lovely! I loved the candy molds they hung on the wall. Also the garden in the restaurant was beautiful.
I went to Kanazawa in my way to Tokyo, I stayed one night and I REALLY enjoyed it! It was like a little Kyoto, very charming, and the only place in Japan where I thought I could totally live here! So yes cut your way back to Tokyo in half and stay 1/2 night(s) it really worthes it!!
I'm actually going to Kanazawa in May!!!! I was worried when I heard about the earthquake early this year as I had already planned to come to explore a different side of Japan that's less travelled~ I'm glad to see that they were not so badly damaged and I'm very much looking forward to exploring Kanazawa soon!! Kanazawa is a beautiful city, especially it's station and castle/garden! Their weather condition in November was unexpected though, got to experience hail and thunderstorm; fully drenched but fun 😂

If you're planning a trip to Japan, I highly suggest including Kanazawa to your itinerary. Because of the recent changes in the price of the JR's Japan Wide Pass, The cheaper Hokuriku Arch Pass has been a great consideration for tourist in Japan making it the New Golden Route. Kanazawa is central to this new route and it is definitely worth the side trip in between your Tokyo and Osaka commute. Like the vlog highlighted, the city has it all (good food, rich in culture and history, beautiful sceneries , etc.) but not as crowded as the major cities! If you don't have the Arch Pass it still is very accessible from Tokyo (Shinkansen) or Osaka (Thunderbird - probably my favorite train that I have ridden in Japan). You will not regret giving Kanazawa a chance!

mmm, i’m a big fan of Noto peninsula and i love Noto-gyu. They don’t produce enough to export all over Japan so they aren’t very well known but like Nemuro-gyu from SE Hokkaido or Otawara-gyu from Otawara(near Nasu, Tochigi), small brand beef are the best!!
Can confirm that Kanazawa is pretty great. I went in January with my wife. My broken Japanese was plenty enough to get around and enjoy. Wish we stayed there longer in the end rather than moving on to Kyoto and Osaka. Even though it was only a few weeks after the earthquake, everything was open and safe. And Kanazawa has the best fish confirmed!
The Kenroukuen garden looks great, and worth more coverage. That's where I would visit to give a deep bow to the Neagari-no-matsu. It has tenaciously withstood quite a few earth quakes.
When will Sutan have a brother? Kimono Mom is truly a tourism ambassador of Japan, making foreign audiences feel as if they have arrived in Japan in person.
