Thank you so much for this brilliant tutorial. I am at the very beginning of slow stitching so this is great, also your tips on hash tags and snippets, thank you x
Finally as a beginner something I can wrap my head around. Thanks Corrine. Love both you and Suzanna’s VBS. You are both down to earth and easy to listen too
This was just what I was looking for. Thank you very much. No doubt when you do a couple of books you will be able to get creative with your works. Thankyou very much. I want to do 3 of these for daughter-in-law and daughters. Some pages for pretty pieces and some for needle case and threads etc.
Thank you so much for your clear instruction on the construction of the basics of this book, along with suggestions for personalization! I enjoy all your videos - this was particularly helpful!
Wonderful demonstration! Thank you so much for taking the time do do this for everyone. You gave so many additional options as you went through the process.
Love you journal, I’ve now made one for the Roxy project! I need to add my signatures now as I forgot to do that before I glued covers on but now I’ve rewatched this I’m going to do it today x
Wow! what a tutorial... go to the head of the class.... you packed a whallop into it... i can't decide how many pages... love the little page on the front also.. like you said, who needs another project! but you just cant help it... now back to the little christmas projects.. thanks
Thank you for making this wonderfully detailed video! I've been hoping for something like this for a long time. Love how willing you are to share your knowledge and ideas. ❤️
Wonderful tutorial, Corinne - made one for Susannah's Vintage Sewing Techniques, but it was great to have such a clear tutorial in one spot. Thanks! (Hoping you are feeling more rested!) Hugs
Thank you so much for this video. I am going to use this method to make a book of my cross stitch finishes. I'd like to keep the old book binding so I think I can modify want you have done to accomplish that. I've watched a few of your videos so far and just love your work. So creative. Thanks again.
I love your process for making a fabric book for stitchery. TFS❤️I’m loving your channel. Discovered you a couple of days ago and have been binge watching you ever since! You’ve inspired me to pull out my slow stitching projects and get cracking at it!
Thanks so much for this! I have my pages all sorted but was confused about the sequence of putting the cover together. Your instructions are clear and easy to follow, and I’m now confident I can proceed. 🙏
A great Vlog, thank you Corrine, thorough instructions. I happen to have 3 old hard cover readers digest books (they now come in a soft cover, my Mum gets them regularly) I’m also converting an old photo album into one of these books so I can add my Anne Brooke’s 52 tags….😊
Wonderful video! Great idea to show how to attach the tabs to the outer covers in the beginning! It’s so very helpful to see the different journals you have that are similar but with slight variations to the one you’re making. Dotty Bee sent us to see how you constructed the journal. She’s used your method for a journal she’s talking about. ❤
This is brilliant, thank you so very very much for doing this tutorial. I have the basic's in my head and I know you have loads of others but finding them is a task lol this one is going in my book making playlist.
Hi Corrine, new fan from the Caribbean. I saw this week 7 of your videos and I’m loving them. Can you add me your link you mentioned here at the beginning. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and beautiful creations.
Hi again Corinne! 😂 im wondering how you attach your front covers to the outside of the journal and also, how do you attach your work to the pages? Oh, and also the fold outs in the front and back? Cheers Noni
Hi.. I use a glue stick to attach a completes piece to the cover .. all the other areas I stitch them to the pages. I guess the basic rule I follow if you can’t stitch it in ., glue it!
Hi! Great tutorial - I'm new to this, but your video was v. clear and helpful. I was wondering about attached an embroidery to the front (and back!) cover. The calico you used on the hard book cover is quite tightly attached after you glued it down, and the tab will go under the cover decoration to hide it - so the cover decoration comes after the book is constructed unless the tab is highly decorated and can become a part of the decoration. Adding an embroidery later, to tightly-glued down calico ... a curved needle to make invisible stitches to hold it in place? Is that what you'd recommend?
Loved watching this and learned so much. One question I have, do you add the pages to your signatures before or after your add the book covers and spine or after. I have everything made but not together.
Hi Corrine, thank you for putting this into one video for reference. A quick questions- In the larger book that you showed how many signature did you add or what would be the a rough signature for a book about 7 x 9 inch. i think i counted 3 signatures. does that sound right?
Thank you so much for this brilliant tutorial. I am at the very beginning of slow stitching so this is great, also your tips on hash tags and snippets, thank you x

Hi Corrine, new fan from the Caribbean. I saw this week 7 of your videos and I’m loving them. Can you add me your link you mentioned here at the beginning. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and beautiful creations.
Are you referring to the making of the caddy designed by Jennifer Clouston or her channel?
ua-cam.com/play/PLB-MU2FeTGMDTWQns6gsBEfYEC47-BI3D.html&si=tXKtrc5jsid8g_TQ
That’s the link to all my Jennifer inspired projects.
What fabric are you using for your journal? Love your creativity 😊❤
Base Fabric or support fabrics is alway calico.. that’s the name in Australia.. homespun is another name.
Hi again Corinne! 😂 im wondering how you attach your front covers to the outside of the journal and also, how do you attach your work to the pages?
Oh, and also the fold outs in the front and back?

I use the glue.. too hard to stitch! A glue stick!
Loved watching this and learned so much. One question I have, do you add the pages to your signatures before or after your add the book covers and spine or after. I have everything made but not together.
Before., then your not frighting with the cover..
Thank you! I’m excited now to get to work!

Yeah that’s correct.. 3 signatures can be 4 stitcheries per signature.. so 12 is plenty
Hi Corinne, where did you get the glues from? Cheers
The blue glue stick is from my local office supplies and Woolworths if you are in Australia. They are student quality glues.
Binding fabric journals is my downfall! Thanks for the help
What is the dimensions of the book please.
Hi.. 5 x 7.5”
