- Pack the car up, take bed, washing facilities, and food. Going to North Yorkshire. Had three smashing conversations. Two with people I have never met before, and one with a lady I met previously in Beverley. Walking alone means you never know who you are going to bump into, and you can strike up a conversation with anybody.
Lovely Ilona, you certainly are adventurous and get about - put the rest of us to shame!. Enjoy & look after yourself ❤ xx

Hi Iliona ☺. We spoke a couple of weeks ago in the car park at the nature reserve in Barton. As you know I lost my husband back in December. This vlog brought back such happy memories. We used to stop at Wetwang fish shop on our way for a week in Dalby Forest every year. Great fish and chips but SO expensive, but worth it. You may be back home by now, will check your blog. Hello, nice to hear from you. I hope you are getting out and about, when it is not raining that is. I was thinking I might go to Dalby Forest but changed my mind. I always get lost in forests and woods. I prefer big open spaces with big skies. Look after yourself.

You seem a lovely woman and hope you had a great holiday but it saddens me greatly to see the pensioners of today having to slum it and do car camping. Pensioners should be staying in 4* hotels in luxury locations, not Yorkshire car parks.
You obviously don't know me. I can afford four star hotels, but I love car camping. Where is your sense of adventure.
@@meanqueensuperscrimper8908 Didn't mean to cause offence Leona. Just think it's awful. State Pension should be £2k a month so people like you can have a nice life and pleasant holidays not have to consider sleeping in supermarket car parks as holidays.
@@user-xl6se6po8r The state pension is calculated on how many years work you have done, and how much you have paid into the system. I get a very good pension from the state, which is more than enough for my needs. Car camping is not slumming it. It's becoming very fashionable, and it's great fun.
