The only bruise they showed was after the multi punch on his arm and miraculously that disappeared by the time he was fighting the regular armored guys

Take the White Flame Monarch, for example, being alive in the Demon Castle dungeon. It was just a replica created by Ashborne for the dungeon because the real Monarch was already killed by Ashborne long before now. It is also how Jinwoo was able to meet Igris and fight him in his living form. Igris was already one of Ashborne's strongest and most loyal Shadow warriors. He was sent to Jinwoo as a test by Ashborne. He chose Igris because he knew that Igris would not only Cary out his commands perfectly, but that when the time came, he would also follow Jinwoo with the same amount of loyalty. In other words, everything was both real and not real at the same time.
