Knowing what I know, as I have read the light novel, I find the ending brilliant and a great window into what's happening to Jin-Woo.

His only skill that is assassin is invisibility but he got that late into his build and didnt choose it.)

They are now evolving to fly. That barrier is no longer going to protect them. The ants that were stuck on the defensive because they couldn't cross the sea are now able to go on the offensive. This also could mean the ants are going to be even stronger as well.
I know this comment is late, and someone else has probably commented this already, but you two should listen to the dub for this. The VA for SJW, Aleks Le, did a great job as Sung and put passion into his performance.
