Einaudi is one of the greatest composers I know. Although he mostly composes music for the piano, there are a lot of secrets behind his music. The biggest secret of his music is "amazing simplicity". Like what you revealed in your video.
A major seventh chord is not a surprising chord even in pop music, and probably CMaj7 shape is one of those very first shapes we learn. But, changing order of the notes to get that cool and soothing sound, and even making it a rootless relative-minor chord, is something most people don't know.
By the way, if you want more amazing music like Einaudi's, I suggest Nils Frahm and Olafur Arnalds. And Einaudi had a concert in Iran and unfortunately, It sold out even before I notice that concert is close to me :D

It's the music from the intouchables... so sad and beautiful in the same way. Just like our lives..

Sounds a bit like something off Mysterious Barricades album by Andy Summers. Anyway, great stuff. Thank you.
