As a former art major, I would suggest buying a color wheel for color choices. I know there are some that can give you complimentary colors, tertiary colors etc if people struggle with color choices.

Thanks again for the helpful tips. I've seen the long 5 inch Lego looking trend. It looks ok but making 2 balloons out of each 5 in and combining them to make those long 5 Inc clusters, takes too long. Love your work. I need more info about the online classes even though I've been doing balloons for over 10 years I always learn something from watching and listening to you.
Hi Marie! I’m not a fan of the Lego look. But that’s my personal taste. There are times where it works but I like using quads of the 5-inch balloons instead.

What do you think of those long, lego-looking bunches of 5" balloons? I see that a lot in the FB groups. I'm not a fan, personally....
I see it a lot now. I’m not a fan either so I won’t be hopping on that trend. But it does work with certain backdrops.

That’s true! I think it’s better to use bigger balloons and a bunch of different sizes so the balloon garland is not so skinny. 💯

The most nightmare for the balloon hard for me is when I don’t know how to tie them strongly and the arch became soooo loose I have to re do it 😢
Hi am just a visitor here, but if you could learn to do the figure 8 using fishing line or 260 balloons maybe that will help.
There is a little plastic on amazon that can help you tie it, it goes on your hand. Also keep a spare bag of small blown balloons and glue dots. If on pops you can simply insert with the glue dots. Not my first resort but great if you have a million other things to do that day.
I have had that happen to me too! Do you use 260’s to tie the balloons together?
Respectfully, I must caution you a bit on balloon quality. Why? There are different "classes" of balloons so to speak. Your comparison was more like apples to avocados. In the Qualatex line there are several "classes". They are Standard, Fashion, Jewel, Neon, Metallic, Pearl and Chrome. It's as if you compared a Chrome balloon to a Metallic. In addition, had both balloons been from the Qualatex line, you would've compared an underinflated 7" Chrone gold to a fully inflated 5" Metallic gold.
Pigmentation varies from class to class within the same company. So, please be careful since you are teaching more than just DIY'ers.
