Do you collect your tools used after the event? Like your clip clicks, and that pole/stand? How do you go about doing that? What items do you just cut ties with to be thrown away from your customers? What about when your flowers or cricut made details?
Hi Kodi! For this particular set-up it was a FULL cleanup so the client has no responsibility at all, it was all Angeleta and the rest of the team getting the hotel room in order so that’s an additional $500 cost on top for a big clean up on a tight timeframe. Regularly we DON’T go back to events for any clean-up, but if we do it’s the same $50 delivery for the getting there and $100/hr for cleaning (same rate as our balloon work labour hourly cost). REGULARLY: - don’t go back, leave everything behind, charge everything we leave under the overhead/equipment cost to the client. NON -REGULARLY (and this time): -did the whole clean up, took all our florals, magnets, bases, poles etc. AND charged the client for it WHILE charging them the Cleaning fee. Again these kind of client’s aren’t the kind to ask if they can take anything back, so they were happy someone else was going to deal with it after their night was over - but if they want to keep it, then charge them the price you paid for the Florals or extra details of course! The flowers were bought from Michael’s Crafts Store, and the links for this video are updated in the description! :) Cheers
Have you thought about touring to certain markets in the US to have classes? You would do so well. I am in NJ. You can host classes for certain amount of days then travel to the next market. If you do consider doing it, please let me be one of the people to know about it early😁😁.
You could literally do no wrong! Your attention to detail is impeccable. Thank you so much for sharing. Loooooved this vlog type of video. It was shorter than the regular but still very packed with info. God bless you 😘
Thank you soooo much for your detailed explanations. Thanks for being an amazing teacher! You are truly an inspiration to others! Thank you for all you do to help others🙏🏽
I was just scrolling through my main page and said that i havent seen a video from you this year and when i refresh, boom here it is! i love this vlog style video and all the tips given as always!!!
You mentioned over inflating in the beginning of the video. Do you over inflate on outdoor structures? When I did, I learned the hard way they pop because the heat expands them.
I love the finished product. So beautiful!! I'd love to get the link for the pole and the magnets you used please. I don't seem to see them in the description. Should I be looking somewhere else? Thank you.
Hi Traci! The description is now updated with all the links :) please let me know if you have any questions. Can’t wait to have you for the upcoming class & seminar! You also have free access to my 1on1 Coaching by becoming a member, I’ve added you to the FORUM on my website, feel free to post your work to get feedback on there :) just login through my website: www.plansbyeve.ca/forum. Cheers, Eve
Can you use that gaff tape on cement? Was wondering if I could secure a lamp stand base to the ground with that tape and cover with balloons. It would be less expensive than buying outside stands for columns. What do you think?
Where can you get the plyable pvc pipe from this video? The link no longer works. Also with regard to breakdown.. do you go a day later to pop balloons and retrieve florals and stands used for this kind of set up. Or is that something the client keeps?
Hi Kerry! here is the pole I get: www.crepepapercrafts.com/product-page/metalloplastic-pipe-for-a-giant-flower-stem They are an Ontario supplier but ship all across CAN & US! Cheers, Eve :)
