Thank you for sharing. I appreciate your transparency and all that you do to help others learn from your experiences. Honestly, your positive attitude even while knowing you made a mistake was so comforting and inspiring. You were so calm and collected and we’re able to come up with a solution so quickly. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your transparency, it's comforting to know we all make mistakes sometimes. You recovered very well & I wouldn't have known without you telling us in this video. Well done. You are definitely inspiring. 👊
We live and learn. But to be as humbled as you are with this is rewarding to see. I normally do party favors but I rolled up on your videos and now is doing balloon garlands as well. I have my first balloon garland event to do on 11/26/23 so I am super geeked to do this but also is very nervous. I have been watching your videos on how to make them , transport and pricing. I am still trying to figure out pricing for my first client as well as I am still practicing until I have to do this event. So just thank you for being human and showing your fails which to make was beautiful for I do get the overall point of paying attention and confirming information
It is a beautiful thing that you are being honest with your error as well as your successes! How admirable (and beneficial to others to learn). I so appreciate you for doing this!
I really like your page. I love how open you are and the honesty. With so many balloon artist that I follow they don't share the hiccups that happen with the events that they do. So grateful i found your page. I really can relate and connect. Thanks for sharing
Good job. FYI if client doesn't want balloons afterwards or doesn't want them all, I take them home and make a few balloon centerpieces to take to residents at the nursing home. Thanks for sharing.
Love how open you are. Thank you quick Note 📝 you could have ran to the super market and picked up assorted fresh flowers in blue and tucked them all over. The job was still beautiful done. I will always follow you love to see work. You rock, !😀
Thank you for watching 😊. I tried to add some blue florals in but I couldn't find anywhere that had some nearby. Unfortunately, the location was far from stores, etc so I was limited on options. It was all bad 😔
Wow great comeback!! Honesty is the best policy and glad you were still able to do your work. Looked very nice 👍🏼 what I learned to do is to carry extra balloons and pump in my bag of the colors I’m using that day. Thank you for your transparency, hope your doing more jabs than last yr 🥰
It turned out beautifully 😍. I truly understand and can relate to your disappointment, I'm new in this industry and am my worst credic. Thanks for sharing your experiences and continued success and transition 🙏🏾
It happens honey- Yes an artist’s has a vision and we get fixated on that picture, and that’s what makes us feel like a failure when things go wrong. Let me just say, you kept your “sh$t together and still made an amazing work of art for them, it looks great. This is what separates winners, how you handled yourself with what you had… well done
Have them sign order confirmation ! That will also cover who’s mistake. I deal with customers all the time I make them confirm No verbals any more LOL . Your awesome
Thank you for being so honest an showing us what happened. Knowing me I would have asked for a table.skirt to drape at the top of the set up to at least have the blue. The venues usually have extra so being me I would have asked and if so I would have thanked Jesus for pulling me through. Lol Glad it turned out OK though.
You're welcome. The table skirt idea sounds interesting, but out of fear of it not looking right with setup, I wouldn't have done it. At that point, it was best to give the refund for the blue balloons. The client thought the setup was pretty but, of course, was disappointed about the blue balloons missing.
I loved what you did !! And that is part of our business last minute decisions to save the day . Question do you make your numbers or you rent them ? Thank you!
Thank you Mz Ree! Glad you found the videos helpful. By 'pearl style' I'm assuming you mean when I double stuff a balloon inside of Sempertex Satin Pearl? I believe this video shows me double stuffing the satin pearl balloons. You can use any color (white sand, white, blush, satin pearl).
I think it still came out great, thanks for sharing your experience. I'm just trying to start a business as well, and just curious when you have a client and set up before the "party" do you leave your stand for the backdrop? lol I know random question
Thank you so much Veronica 💓. Yes, they rented the stand for the party and I came back afterwards to pick up the stand, numbers, and, if they don't want the balloons, I may take those as well.
Thank you so much for sharing...I do appreciate it ..I really do like this business..and am just trying to learn all I can about it...God blessings upon u and your business 🙏
Awesome! Feel free to check out more of my videos and several other really talented balloon/event designers on UA-cam. Also, I suggest classes if you want more of a more detailed approach.
Thanks for watching! For the most part, yes, I work alone. I definitely understand the your struggle of being doing it all by myself. Hopefully, as the business grows, I can bless someone else with a job lol. 🙏
Thank you, I want to start with this business, question. Where did you buy the large # and how much did it cost? I look on Amazon but it cost around 250 and 150 for shipping

What do you do after the event? Do you pop them all and toss them?
I usually leave the balloons with the client. If they want me take them, I'll throw them in my van and either pop or recycle when I get home
What did she use to put the curtains together?
I used a safety pin to keep them from separating
Thank you, I want to start with this business, question. Where did you buy the large # and how much did it cost? I look on Amazon but it cost around 250 and 150 for shipping
Hello. I made the numbers myself. It cost about $100 assuming you already have a jigsaw, sander, and power drill. You can rent those items out though
