Great video! Harry was beaming from ear to ear like a kid in a toy shop who finally found the toy he most wanted: the Regna! I must visit Windsor when I go to Japan.
When I first stepped into a Windsor outlet in Tokyo (2018), I was in awe and I even teared 😢! It's like finding a tennis heaven and I almost couldn't believe that such a place existed! Coming from a tennis deprived country, Windsor is a dream come true. They have many outlets in Tokyo though.
I'm watching your videos since i had to change my old Head Liquid Metal 4. I like your slow and clear english, i can put together all info You give about racquets with lessons for improving my english. I guess many foreigners watch your videos because of your clear language. Greetings from Rome Italy ❤
Yeah.. my go to Tennis shop in Tokyo! they have the widest spread of tennis stuff 💪👍
That was another episode of Harry & The Tennis Factory!
Went to the exact store in your video. Bought a badminton racquet and shuttlecocks. Already have my tennis racquets. Thank you for all the wonderful context you put out.
9:13 those all red Princes look amazing!
The Japanese "Max Beast" is their version of the Ripstick.
Ellesse is actually a UK brand, in EU you can find their tennis products line on the usual big online shops, and also can buy directly from their site.
The clothes quality, materials and fit, are pretty good. The style is usually great, every collection sports some classic reminescence with a touch of modern graphics.
Damn! Racquets shops in Japan are lightyears ahead of anything we have in the US in terms of the range of products!
We have stores that size in a few areas- Holarbird sports, Tennis Warehouse, Tennis Express in Houston, and there are definitely stores that large in South Florida. But the Japanese have more foot traffic. Tokyo especially. There are 20 million people in the city and most are walking at some point.
I love touch tennis!!!!!! It’s my favorite you can hit the ball hard
You are right about the Babolat Pure Aero VS. They are gone. I had to get mine shipped from the EU.
Nice trip...BUY ALL REGNA‘s MAN...😬
FYI, the Prince Random racquets are available at Tennis Warehouse.
Told you . The most complete shop in Tokyo
why are the Price Tour, and some Prince’s rackets different in Japan? ( not just the colors, but the weight and beam width are different)
I remember schnauwart and Rossignol
how much that trip cost you Harry....tennis racket wise😆
Prince Layd mary and Random are only $199 on TW
No placards because it gets inconvenient when checking racket specs. Probably store a few in case some customers insist on having the original placard.
I bet it has something to do with recycling and limiting waste, but I may be mistaken
Amazing. At 13:39… Harry hit a few wonderful forehands with full coordinated follow through. Why could he not do this for the hundred times he was testing rackets back in CA ??
I was wondering the same. The reason could be the incoming ball speed. But those two forehand Harry hit were very Federeresque.
@@bournejason66 I am trying my best to complement his strokes but in the past it was too difficult. But really someone should show him the strokes he hit in this store and just tell him to copy that.
@@bournejason66 Yes, not too much incoming ball speed from that ball machine. They just sorta plop out!
Best thing is how the net feeds the balls back into machine for endless hitting...
@@ozmagoo7724 true, but at least he has the right start, coach Rob show Harry this video
Leylah, OH CANADA🇨🇦🇨🇦
I remember Ellesee shoes
I went there in December and left with a VS lol
Just visited yesterday, no Regna 😢
Yup, Ellesse exists and has been experiencing a revival in Europe last 3-4 years. Just like Fila they’ve had their fair share of ownership issues and obscure distribution structures…
Yes, Ellesse is available here in Oz too. Saw young mum waiting for coffee wearing Ellesse t-shirt this morning.
TW also sells Regina.
Regna cost at Winsor = (41360 - 8% tax)/130 exchange rate = $292. Came with free PTP at $18 makes racquet cost $274. I hope he got the racquet cover it comes with. It's a lot nicer than the one he shows. BTW, Poly Tour Rev feels so good in this racquet.
@@tyeaway good point 👍.
❤🔥
The price seems to bit higher compared to other shops
Given the two 3-in-1 machines, they probably provide spec checking and matching for rackets sold. Easy to justify higher pricing for such value added service.
In the UK, most racket shops would rather not provide such a service (or if they do, only when pressed specifically) since it suits them for customers to believe that all racquets are the same per specs printed on the racket or placard. Most shops just want to make a sale in as little time as possible, so it actually creates more work for themselves if they were to make the typical average customer aware of spec variances.
Ask a sales person in a racket shop in UK to weight a racket before purchase and their standard answer is “Oh, it’s on the racket. 305g”.
Were you there recently? Why is everyone masked up???
