This is one of my all time favorite whiskeys, older Irish whisky is simply stunning most of the time
I have tried a lot of whiskeys , but this one if definitely in my top 3. Superior deepness. Impressive dram. Almost religious experience. Worth any penny.
Bush is hard to beat and alot of people don't know that old Bushmills distillery is the oldest in the world
SANTOS ADELANTADOS BATMAN....!!! THE SCOUT OF THE COURAGEOUS WHISKY JURNEY...... FIRST COMMENT FRON ARGENTINA, VERY LOGICAL FOR A MISANTHROPE IN THIS HOLIDAYS....
Hard enough to come by here in Ireland, and normally sells around the €180 mark..
Wish they had bottled at higher Abv.
Amazing whiskey
One of my bucket list bottles. But right now I'm hunting other bottles that are hard to find and also better.
For who don't know Madeira means Wood in Portuguese
I've had four bottles, the first three were excellent. The last bottle was disappointing, it was like a different whiskey. 😥
Very juicy indeed.
This question is for the viewers since Whisky.com will NEVER do the courtesy of responding. (that's right Horst and Ben, I'm talking to you and I know you're reading this ..I can hear you breathing .. *and Horst swooshing*)
But .. I purchased the 21, and it seems to have several scratches on it. Will the scratches on the bottle compromise it's potential of being a collectors item in your opinion?
And, Is it normal for the 21 year old to be slightly lighter in color than the 16? When I put the 21 next to the 16, the 16 absolutely looks a shade darker. I always thought the 21 seemed darker in online pics and reviews. Do you have any thoughts on that?
Cheers!

I found a shop that had one bottle 2 years ago it was 44 Euro......and a 16 that was 32.....I found 2 of those.
Where about?
why 40% for a 21year?? i havent tried it so im not going to crap on it. but wouldnt it be too smooth like whisky flavoured water? lol never herd of a whisky that age at 40%
Most Irish ones are u snob
No they're not. Midleton Rare is the only other premium expensive Irish that takes the piss with 40%...everything else at 80 euro or above that ive come across (Redbreast 15, 21, Yellow Spot, Red Spot, John's Lane, Teeling premium, Glendalough premium, JJ Corry premium etc etc) is treating he customers with respect and bottling at 46% or above.
the girl with the dragon tattoo whisky.
I bought a bottle online. I didn’t notice it was 40% until I got it. Disappointed. I’m done with Bushmills. They got me once, that’s the limit.
why didnt you check the abv before you bought it?
Catnap Gee I could have but I was careless. When I heard it was rare, I took the bait. Kick me.
@@Vesbolk *kick* :D
Did it really matter that much even your getting quality whiskey
Have you actually tasted it and you judging it just by an abv number?
