Beautiful Park from the Ocean to Buffalo,Polo and serenity great find. I absolutely love Bison such a majestic creature and would definitely be cool to check out a polo match.
Golden Gate Park is awesome! What a nice beach, too bad the water is cold! We loved our time in SF and can't wait to get back someday to see Niners and maybe catch a Giants game. Would be a blast!
There are two big music festivals each year in Golden Gate Park. The paid one, "Outside Lands," which was what the West side of San Francisco used to be called, usually has about 250,000 attendees. The free festival, "Hardly Strictly Bluegrass," was just last month and over the three-day event, drew more than 750,000 people to the park.
The park is definitely large enough for that many people. I'm sure everyone in the area knows the park well, but I just don't think people across the country know that this park is every bit and maybe more of what Central Park is in New York.
This place is pretty cool. The girls would love to meet those horses. I don’t think I have ever seen a polo ground either. You found lots of random things here. Surprised there wasn’t many people in that area.
Seems like a nice peaceful place away from the big city! Both bison and police horses, you can't go wrong. I've heard that California surfers are pretty die hard and surf all year long no matter what. Great park!
I remember the First Lady Roadie really enjoyed this park especially the flower garden 🪴
I had been through the park once before, but this is the first time I really explored it. You could easily spend a whole day there.

If I would’ve checked the schedule and saw the 49ers were playing that Monday night I would’ve definitely stayed another day.

I got there pretty early on a weekday, and it was a little cold that morning so that is probably why it wasn't very busy.
Place to practice fly casting? Who knew I never would have thought there would be such a place 🤔

It’s definitely a nice escape from the busy city, and it’s great for a day out! As far the surfing... I'll have to pass on that!
