I'm scared to buy because every year they always say this is the best mustang ever then the next year its a slap in the face for who ever bought last years mustangs
Recently purchased the GT premium and I must say I am loving it. For those asking about pricing, mine had 10,200 miles on it and I got out of there for $27,200 after TT&L. I had been checking prices on autotrader for a good year before I finally found one I could reasonably afford. As for the back seat, it's possible to fit 2 normal sized people back there, but they will not be too comfortable. It's easier for me to just have one person in the back seat so the passenger can scoot their seat up a decent amount. Otherwise there isn't even enough room for someone to get their feet on the ground. But you buy a coupe (2 or 4 seats) with the assumption it's a 2 seater
im 5'10 fit pretty snug in the back seat of my 5.0. Not really recommended for long drives but can do for Point A to point B. kinda snug especially if the driver has seat way back. Wouldnt recommend but you can fit.
When I got mine, I got the Premium package but I had interface problems with the GPS. I had to get it replaced. The position of the cup holders don't bother me, since I never eat or drink in my car anyway (it's okay if my date does, though). Other than that, I love my Mustang.
Does anyone know if its possible for Ford to do a right hand drive version of this fine beast? im in the UK and would love to have a big V8 beast, without paying the huge european prices.
Great review guys, but you're using the slowest magazine performance numbers... In three other tests, the '11 GT Coupe 6M did 0-60 in 4.3-4.4 and ran the 1/4 mile in 12.7 @ 111 and change in all three tests. One different test got this 5.0 through the 1/4 mile in 12.6 @ 112 which is the best numbers so far. 13.2 @ 109 is quite a bit slower than the 2010 Camaro SS's 12.9 @ 110 & 13.0 @ 111 tests.
Very informative, but I really missed hearing the vehicle sounds. These reviews would improve markedly if you would consider adding both interior engine and shifting audio, as well as several takes of exterior exhaust and engine notes. Thanks kindly.
I agree somewhat. I like the oversized, muscular appearance of camaros but that size comes at a price. I have a 2012 2LT RS camaro and its like steering a boat. Its not a nimble car and its very heavy. Challengers are heavier though.
@Lonelycosmos Funny you say that. There was actually a police car lingering just near where this review was being shot, almost like he was daring us to "show off". So we had to behave ourselves ;)
@oldtwins because most people don't agree with you on styling. most of the new cars all look alike. the stang, camaro and challenger/charger are different from everything else on the road. we are not all the same. i don't want to see 10 other people driving something like mine on my way to work.
haha 2 people can sit in it , Don't get me wrong i got a Mustang gt 2012 myself im like 179cm tall and my 3 buddies are taller than me and 2 of em is kinda fat , yet they always sit and don't complain about the seats , and i see them with back mirror relaxing , I tell you buddy its not a Camaro back seat this is a Badass American legend
and? even regular BMW 3 series are nearly twice the cost of a V6 mustang or similar American car. a base stang is 23Gs. a 328 is 39Gs. 305hp vs 230hp. handling is about the same. the BMW might have a little more room inside, maybe. i'm not even a huge fan of the new mustang but i know i'd buy a GT and and have money left over for the cost of a base 3 series. by the time you throw in options on the BMW you can buy a BOSS. so go ahead and go waste your money and get beat on any type of track.
it needs a tremec.... I told Ford to "F-off" when I said I would pay MORE for a Tremec but they said they couldn't. so I got a 2012 SRT8 Challenger. with the Tremec.
OMG...I'm in love!. I would SO do another 15 month deployment, to come home and buy one of these babies. AHHH. God I love being an American. I'm going to keep dreaming!
holy crap I counted over a 100 2012 mustangs cruising through yosemite!!! to many mustangs! they look kinda honda ish in the rear light area. does every one have a new mustang up there. I used to love em but now just see to many. trendy shit!! or must be rentals!!
Just don't like the styling. Why can't it be unique and set new styling standards like the Japanese or even Koreans have. Instead need to be retro ? ugh. And please make it more sleeper-like; I remember those sleeper looking LX 5.0's on the late 80s. They rocked because nobody thought they were fast (looked like the 4 cylinder model). And good god, get rid of that stupid huge steering wheel. Cut the price too.
@hollaatyaboy12 euro trash is over rated. we get used ones in all the time i i have never been impressed with anything short of a M3 or AMG. 3 times the money to be slightly better? give me a break.
After driving a civic for 5 years, I can't wait to get one this summer. Shooting for a GT convertible 6 spd.

Well what kinda of lights do you think would looke better? the old style?
enough said I'm going to get one today
2011 and 2012. Cool!

the 2013 is nice!!! with the new front and rear led lights.
Fuck!!! they denied my credit
I have a 2006 and at 6 foot 2, 260 lbs. I have plenty of room, I was surprised so I bought it!!!
@italiankilla58 I heard that too but im not 100% sure if thats the case
I really liked your video.

I never seem to find the price of new cars like that. How low you can get a GT?

is it possible to get this car as an automatic and not a shift?
I'll get a used 2013 GT, then hopefully a Shelby Gt500 in the future. Well off to get my 2011 v6 xD
I want one!! but i'm broke. maybe in a few years!
I like how they mentioned all the packages :3

with the middle mirror *

you gotta hate when police try to ruin good perfectly safe car enthusiast fun

Good review...lacks tire smoke though. :) these are indeed a brilliant driving car...unbeatable for the price!
If I had a car like this Id be the happiest guy on the world. Oh and maybe a magnaflow or borla on it
I find the steering wheel too skinny and too slippery.
390 pound feet of torque = 528 nm.
an audi a6 3.0 tdi makes 500 nm of torque...
So adults cant sit in the backseats? even if the person is skinny and the driver and passenger don't put their seats all the way back?

@blueduster74 Funny, I see plenty of V6 Mustangs from rental fleets.
I want one

did you shoot this at meadowbrook?
those are the fog lights
floating pony or flying mustang
@oldtwins you are totally in the minority. go buy a genesis coupe and let mustang fans enjoy the best version ever
Camaros look much better. Ford only sold 70,000 mustangs last year.
Love it.
and 1/4 Mile is 12.8.... if you know how to drive.
Geez this video wastes a lot of time going over the options lists. I could get that info off of Ford's website. Focus more on impressions.
*convertible
love the engine but hate the rest of the car

What the hell is a 350z
