That will depend with your work but Muscat is okay especially if you’ve kids, you can opt for international schools or local bilingual private schools.

Hey there, you cannot change this to employment visa as per new rules, it’s not advisable at all because incase you get a job you’ll have to exit Oman and re-enter on employment visa.
