  • Gregg breaks down and plays the "Purdie Shuffle," a groove made famous by legendary drummer Bernard "Pretty" Purdie which was also the inspiration for the late great Jeff Porcaro's performance on Toto’s hit song "Rosanna.” (The Purdie shuffle was also the inspiration for Led Zeppelin's "Fool in the Rain" shuffle groove played by the legendary John Bonham.) These grooves focus on shuffle-feel linear drumming and aim to provide a good feel that supports the song musically.

    The half-time shuffle is quite difficult to play. One of the most difficult grooves.

    Hola Greg. Quiero felicitarte por el snare drum dixon hand hammered. Lo adquirí hace 4 meses y es alucinante el audio el sonido tremendo!. And super versatil para muchos estilos. Lo grabe en studio con una tensión mecanica de 90. Y el sonido impresionó a los ingenieros. Eres un genio!
