I will eventually, but I would want the same exact handlebar set up as that would affect me a lot plus he runs a thumb throttle so I didn’t want to run his sled cause I hate thumb throttle and I get out of control
I totally agree kind of skews the challenge and makes it pointless imo. Stock vs stock. Bryce cardinal did the same thing 2.75 vs 3.25 track 9rs. But the sleds had different clutching. One had a lightweight hood the other didn’t.
That's not a very comparison he may like thumb throttle more but you have a much easier time side hilling with a finger throttle you have better position and control of the sled, same with the lowered handle bars you should do both stock sleds, I also think you guys need to ride each other sleds to really compare them I don't either are better then each other it probably just comes down to personal preference and the rider himself on if he goes with can am or Polaris
Muskoka was hill climbing with a bunch of Polaris last year and same results the doo way out climbed the Polaris I was talking with a camso rep and he claimed since they make both tracks it’s in the track design Polaris wanted better hill control with a stiffer track and that sacrificed traction which and vs vs
He loves them. He had the 509 heated before and would constantly fog up now he can run two full days depending on how much they get used and it they’ll still fog, but he says they un fog super quick, like as soon as he starts riding that heat kicks in and just boom unfogged
Great vid. And you should jump on both sleds to give us the comparison. You switch back & forth now from Doo to Poo. Why do YOU pick one over the other?
I ride both sleds. I know that the Polaris side hills way better already but Skidoo definitely does things better than the players as well. They both do different things.
Everyone knows Polaris gets on edge and holds better than the doo. Good video tho! Woulda been fun video to make! But I have a question…… is the doo stock? If it is that ain’t saying much for ur performance upgrades
This is a joke yea? or are you just trolling for comments? You needed to find a hill that had more area to actually run similar lines at similar approach angles, and the same rider should run the test on each sled. You are obviously the better rider, you also appear shorter and lighter. Extra bag on the back of the skidoo, and is it in party mode or business?
Clearly you didn’t listen to me on the video I said we’re doing it for fun and we’re not professionals and I can make the video how I want, but thank you for commenting😂
You should re do this with your buddy and you both run each sled once for each challenge to get more perspective if that makes sense

Its not what you ride but how you ride, its been a saying for many years for good reason
That’s right
Fun video. The hill climbing might be even better for the Polaris if it were a Pro instead of a Khaos. They're both awesome sleds. 🤙
Very true!
I think it comes down to rider skill and picking the best lines.
Head to head would have been 1 person testing both sleds…

What does your buddy think of those Tempest goggles?
I have the CKX helmet & heated googles but the battery pack is a pain.
He loves them. He had the 509 heated before and would constantly fog up now he can run two full days depending on how much they get used and it they’ll still fog, but he says they un fog super quick, like as soon as he starts riding that heat kicks in and just boom unfogged
@ great thanks for the info.
For fair comparisons with the races you need to do timed runs with more similar lines.

@@ChaseMasson very true. Was a fun vid to watch like all your content. Keep up the good work. Lucky bugger getting to live right there!!
The polaris had way more track speed on the side hill... the doo could have , but the rider didnt for some reason
this is big rock at eagle pass Right ?
Yes
I think it would be fair if you swapped riders to compare. And set up your suspension for climbing or used a pro to compare.
Yeah exactly
Everyone knows Polaris gets on edge and holds better than the doo. Good video tho! Woulda been fun video to make! But I have a question…… is the doo stock? If it is that ain’t saying much for ur performance upgrades
It’s the same as mine it has clutching as well. My Polaris is all stock besides the clutching.
@ Ahh ya right on
The Polaris wins in the looks department.
Both sleds have to travel at the same speed that other guy don’t know how to ride
He knows how to ride for sure I know that for a fact, it’s just that Hill was really steep. Video never looks the same.
Nice
The brand winner is the company with the lowest warranty rate.
Cool video. Polaris sure looks better than doo
waiting on some new fresh snow eh?

@ oh I heard it. I just don’t personally understand attempting to make any type of claim without actual honest testing… 🤷🏼♂️
That was your best video you have made.
Glad you liked it!
If you want to party get a doo!
