Great videos love watching these you deserve more subscribers great channel don’t give up keep em coming - would be nice to see more of you fitting the great work back on the actual car 👍💥👌
First of all, thanks for the video, should I install the tie rods or the tie rod end apparatus as E36 in order to attach the wishbone block originally, my wheel is behind, I would appreciate it if you could help me, my project is over, but I only had a problem with the wishbone block. Should I change the tie rod shaft?
Thanks 🙏 the control arm is stock e30. The strut housing and the strut it self is also e30 (51mm). I used a a sleeve that goes on the spindle in order to be able to install e36 wheel bearing/hub 👍
great video, that is relatively not rusty compared to mine! 😂 how come you decided with a 5 lug swap, I might have missed this in other videos, so sorry if I have!
@@snailspeedprojects292 ahh makes sense, I've still for the 4 stud on mine, but rear drums, so was wondering if I should move to 5 stud when I eventually fit disc trailing arms to the rear
Öncelikle video için teşekkürler, salıncak takozunu orjinal takabilmek için rot kolları veya rot başı aparatı E36 olarak mı montaj yapmalıyım, tekerleğim geride duruyor yardımcı olursanız sevinirim projem bitti fakat sadece salıncak takozunda problem yaşadım. Rot milini değişmelimiyim.
Hey what angle do you put the sway bar at when you install it. Like so it can attach to the end links without having too much or too little preload or does the angle of the ends of the sway bar itself not matter???
Great work, I have a question.. what did you use to remove the sticky rust proofing from the bottom of your car? My E30 has the same exact problem and I don’t know what to use to remove the rust proofing that did not dry. Thanks Chris
Hi Chris, thanks 🙏 I scraped off as much as I could and used a mix of petrol (cheap) and brake cleaner for the final wipe down. Very time consuming and messy job, but the results are rewarding 👍

Hi mate! I have a quastion , does it bother you that you find rust in many places under the protective coating? It looks like there may be more places like this.

Hey man love the video, is it stock e30 control arm? what year e36 strut did you use and does the year matter?

Thanks 🙏 yeah, these cars can rust 😅 the 5 lug swap was already there when I got the car so I thought I will just keep it 🙂👍

Where did you get the caliper adapter bracket ? I have a similar kit and did not come with one
From epytec.de 🙂👍
Will your abs work with e36 hub and e30 abs sensor? This company sell 5x120 hub in e30 dimensions
The abs works fine, plug & play
Also, as far as I can see, you haven’t locked the nut on the front wheel hub.
True that, I need to drop it on the wheels so I can torque the hub nut as well as the rest if the suspension 🙂👍
Please, what paint did you use for the wheel housing?
Thanks for watching 🙂 I used simple automotive paint in the body color - diamond black metallic. No clear coat 👍

Hey, I don't think the angle matters. You might want to jack up the front wheels to connect the sway bar ends to the links on the control arms.

Hi, rust bothers me a lot, even surface rust 😅 I try to clean all I can see.
Is this the correct orientation for the bump stop? I've seen it install in the opposite direction in another video.
Pretty sure it is. BMW parts catalog is pretty accurate and saw the same orientation online from original suspension photos 🙂👍
@@snailspeedprojects292 You are correct. My bumpers were shot so I couldn't tell. Thanks for the follow-up.
