I'm delighted for you both! I used to think I'd love to travel on a boat, until I went on a sailboat and got sick as soon as I went off the deck and down into the boat. Instead, I'll enjoy armchair boating while enjoying your travels.
15 years ago I researched heavily into doing the great loop and it looks like you have everything covered with this boat. The modified radar arch and bow thrusters make this the perfect setup. I will be looking forward to watching every video you post! My last boat was named "Why Knot".
We are fulltimer RV'ers dividing our time mainly between the Fl Keys and GA mountains. We have been boaters for many years, and love boating. Your new trawler is amazing and looks very liveable. I can see many happy hours cruising in your boat. It looks like a comfy place for kitty too, which we understand how important it is to make the cats happy. That arch is great. It looks like you've thought of everything Can't wait to see more. Congrats!
Wow guys what a match for your adventurous personalities! I'm glad you found a boat with excellent clearance. I was pleasantly surprised at the total amount of space it has. It seems like you would benefit so much from having access to all that stuff under the living room floor. I can't wait to see where Y-Not brings ya'll!!!
Faith in the humanity of travel vloggers bordering on 100% restored. Thank You!! Seems all anyone who does this these days is really doing so just to pick my pockets for their happy good times. Loving you guys. Best wishes.......
Aww.. thanks. We truly appreciate the work it takes to put together content, and support those trying to make a living at it. But we already have a full time career that keeps us plenty busy. We prefer this to be our hobby/play space. So, we share when we can :)
Although I am a stick and flag guy I always appreciate the water! This looks like a terrific adventure, with the friends and family to join in. I bet that your new travels will be memories that last many generations! Congrats!!!
Congrats Chris & Cherie! What a spectacular new home! Looking forward to following your cruising adventures in the months to come. What lifelong memories you'll be making!
i love the fact that the seller is invested in transitioning the vessel to the next owner/operator. that is a major plus when you think about a live-aboard.
Oh I am so excited for you all. This will be my go to video as soon as posted. I have wanted to watch this kind of video. I am afraid of water, but I sure like to watch other people do it. Good luck and stay safe. You have the perfect setup.
I love your boat! my husband and I have talked about this for awhile. we are just now getting ready to take off in a 5th wheel for a year. one step at a time. love you guys!
You two are full of surprises! Congratulations on the purchase of the beautiful Y-Not and on your union aboard. So happy for you. I follow your RV videos and somehow missed all of these new ones. Looked at my subscriptions and somehow I had lost all of them. Back up to speed now. Again, congratulations!
It's beautiful! I absolute love it! You guys are going to love living in that space and to be on the water full time half the year sounds incredible. Congrats to you both on this wonderful addition to your travel arsenal.
Congrats!!!!!! That is a nice looking craft. My wife and I have been "lurking" in the back ground at a lot of your videos getting ready to hit the road full time. Our fifth wheel comes in next month on the 19th. so thats the date we are looking forward to. Ive watched a lot of your videos and I've learned a lot so thank you for that. I can't wait to see the adventure on your new chapter in life..
Congratulations!!! you guys are awesome in every way, how you conduct your adventures, the information you share and most of all how you portray yourselves as a couple. From what meets the eye, the ear and energetically, you two appear to have such an equal, emotionally healthy, enjoyable to watch relationship. BTW, I have only been following you for a couple of months.
Living in West Michigan near the shore of Lake Michigan, boating is a big part of our community and culture. This boat and where you are at will allow for year round use. That would be amazing. Can't wait to follow you along on your journey. Thanks for sharing with all of us.
Congratulations!! This is VERY nice! And, thanks for mentioning Kiki, because after all, it's all about the cat!! I will be looking forward to seeing all of your planned mods and of course 'trips'
wow, congratulations to your new home. I have no experience with boats what so ever, but your y-not looks very cozy and comfortable. I would like to thank you again for all your awesome, informative and inspiring videos. Heading out in the next 3 weeks with my first RV, I called her joy and my lab mix Daisy Doodle......I am so freaking excited. Ahoi till we maybe meet on day....all the best to you!!
I realize I was out of the loop with the two of you for awhile but was amazed to see your new addition. I am thrilled for the two of you. You've worked so hard now enjoy your rewards!
I`m working on what yall are already doing. I watch a lot of what others are doing, traveling the world. I`m 55, and still working. I have traveled with friends on sailboat, but think i would like to do the loop in a Yacht like yours. I did grow up having a 19' boston Whaller in MobileBay. and have boat lic. Holding on to my dream. My aunt travels with her hubby at the age oh 83, in a 42' Motorhome. I watch your site, TrioTravelers and Tula endless summer. I see a lot of people who are living the dream. Yall be safe, and take care.
I came and saw. I'm so very happy for you two. Enjoy. I will keep watching. I'm very new to the nomad life style. So far, so good. Learning a lot and thanks for the help. Take care. Oh, pet your cat for me please. I've had both cats and dogs and wright now I have a full size Chihuahua named mr. Gray beard. Thanks again.
Congratulations Sheri and Chris!! You've come a long way starting ur ventures! It's a gorgeous boat! So happy for the two of u! Enjoy ur trip on the waterwaves. Keep up the good work on sharing with everyone!
Congratulations! Many years ago I explored the Chesapeake Bay and tributaries aboard my 33-foot Century Sedan Express. Our plans were to do the loop when I married and moved to Chicago. Envious? Yes, I am.
Awesome choice! Such a smart design. We live in the Lake George NY area and if you come up the Champlain canal we will be out to wave hello!! Happy to chauffeur you around day tripping to the historic sites etc too.
It's great re-reviewing this clip. Seeing all the changes you have made over the past year which was on your wish list when you first bought it. You said it was going to be a slow Great loop and boy were you not kidding LOL. It's been over a year and year just in Georgia.
A year? It'll be 5 years in March 2022 since bought the boat. We got as far north as Charleston, SC and retreated back to FL for the pandemic. One day...
@@Technomadia I've been following for about a year and a half so I'm not always as up to date as I should be. LOL. Hey take your time you told us it was going to be a slow trip LOL.
They shoot...they SCORE!!! AWESOME!!! So excited for you (and personally jealous) of this new journey you're about to venture into!! Congratulations!!! :D
Great boat! The arch modification is awesome! We scraped our masthead antenna on our catamaran on a fixed bridge in Florida. Luckily the water was calm and no boat wakes - pretty scary!
My wife and I are full time in a camper at bucks port marina in sc We have lived this way for 6 years . love it . And we enjoy meeting the loopers . look out for the manity great couple . I believe they have 37 loops on that boat . Welcome to the nomadic life .
Thanks... we're not new to nomadic life (11 years on the road thus far), just cruising :) Our other home is a RV. See you when we get to SC in a year or two ;)
Very nice safe seaworthy vessel, good to see the folding arm and equipped with radar. It should do well on the inter-coastal waterway and the Great Lakes. One storm and rough seas will convince you that you made the right choice. May the winds always be at your back.
Congrats on the Boat. We looked at the same model before settling on our 44 Tollycraft. Those Pilothouse Bays are great boats. Have fun and maybe see you on the water.
Been watching you folks for quite a while... Thanks for all knowledge / experiences you've been kind enough to share with all of us.. 🙋 This transition from Rv to boat (I should say yacht.), is looking to be seamless... 😨 Looking forward to the next adventures that you are going be taking all of us on!!!🙌 Thank You!!
Wow! She is a beauty! So delighted for you all... we can see you just loving this new phase of your nomadic adventures. Truly a beautiful boat and we can feel your excitement. Congratulations and we look forward to watching your journeys unfold. Wishing you every success and happiness! Julie and Marc xo
WOW...Congrats on the boat. Love all the room your boat has plus the mods already done makes it a real deal. Can't wait to see you start modifying it. Can't beat Cummins engines either. I drive a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins 5.9 Turbo Diesel with 250,000 miles and it runs perfect and I've never had a problem with the engine. Just regular maintenance and they will last forever.
Hah.. that's what 'they' told us about our Detroits when we bought our bus. Glad we put away major engine repair funds anyway :) Better to have it and not need it.
Wow I'm soooo Stoked for you guys!! This is going to be fun to watch...Especially after watching the Wynns and they're catamaran down in the Bahamas... The Loop will be totally different And your boat is awesome . More the kind that I would choose. I hope everything goes Great for you two!! Happy sailing!
Congratulations! I love the layout - so spacious and inviting. I'm sure it will feel like a mansion compared to the bus; and with a washer dryer too! Glad you kept your beautiful bus though. I love the idea of mixing land travel with water travel for the best of both worlds. So happy for you both!
Congrats! Sooo happy for you guys! You are both such an inspiration! Thank you for sharing your lives and your journeys. Looking forward to your upcoming adventures:)) What a perfect name too! It was like it was named just for you guys!
When I was riding my mobility scooter along the seawall yesterday, I thought I saw your boat. I had to go back and rewatch this video. But it was the Whynot, not the Y-Not. Close, but no cigar. ;) Jon in Vancouver, BC
Beautiful boat guys, and very clean. Looks like it was well taken care of. It looks like it has a lot of options that cost someone a ton of money at some point. Those window shades and bimini tops with accompanying stainless hardware are not cheap!
I was expecting a 1960's Chris Craft Constellation or Egg Harbor, but the Bayliner 4788 is a lot of boat for the money. Interested to get a look at those engines, Chris. Good luck guys.

Awesome choice! Such a smart design. We live in the Lake George NY area and if you come up the Champlain canal we will be out to wave hello!! Happy to chauffeur you around day tripping to the historic sites etc too.
The motorized arch is a great touch. We had to pay $1000 to have our arch lowered and reattached for dry transport. Great purchase!
Great boat. Great presentation. Host plus camera man gives a better viewpoint of space. Thanks for sharing with us.
