1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (ESV), he asks, “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. ... God created our physical bodies, therefore making it good and precious from the beginning.

The Holy Spirit is omnipresent, the Holy Spirit was hoovering over the waters at the beginning of creation of this earth. The Holy Spirit is always present.
The restrained is a “he” not the Church which “ eclesia” in Green , in Spanish “Iglesia” a feminine noun.
Thank you brother for your brilliant explanation

I enjoy your insights and teaching. I would suggest that Jesus teaching, on the Spirit`s help to the saints in the time of apostasy, applies to the past and present as well as to the future revealing of the Man of Sin and the Apostacy.

Take a look at Daniel 10 and 11:1. Michael is mentioned here as a helper, but someone else is here restraining princes in the heavenly places.

    WHO is the restrainer?
    Let's look at this passage.
The first problem with this passage is that the Greek texts disagree: some say “the day of Christ” while others say “the Day of the Lord.” This is easy to solve. Which of the two terms did Paul use in His first letter? He used the Day of the Lord. I suspect these two terms meant the same thing to Paul, for after all, Christ is Lord.
These believers were under severe persecution, and somehow, they had come to believe that this persecution was the Day of the Lord, that they were under the wrath of God. The day of the rapture would simply not fit here.
The second problem is that the KJV missed the tense of a Greek word in verse 2. Here is how it should read.
AMP 2 Thes. 2:2: not to be quickly unsettled or alarmed either by a [so-called prophetic revelation of a] spirit or a message or a letter [alleged to be] from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has [already] come. (AMP)
Then a worse problem: almost every English translation adds words to verse 3 using the false idea that the Day was only "at hand." ("That day shall not come...")
This is how verse 3 should be read.
1535 Coverdale Bible (added words removed)
Let no man disceaue you by eny meanes. For, excepte the departynge come first, and that Man of Synne be opened, even the sonne of perdicion.
It goes without saying that Paul must have expected his readers to know what he meant by the significant departing. If we look in his first letter, the significant departing was the rapture. The rapture or gathering was the theme of this passage.
Then in verses 6-8 Paul tells us that there is a power that is holding back or restraining the revealing of the man of sin until the proper time. Of course, God would know that proper time. The point is, the man of sin cannot be revealed UNTIL the power restraining him is “taken out of the way. Yet, read verse 3 carefully with verses 6-8 in mind.
Did you notice that in verse 3b the man of sin IS revealed? (Not in reality but in Paul's argument.) Yet, in verses 6-8 he told us that the man of sin could NOT be revealed until the power restraining that revealed was taken out of the way. Therefore, logic tells us that somewhere in verse 3a we MUST Find something being "taken out of the way."
The ONLY word I can find that makes any sense is "apostasia" as something “taken out of the way.” Several early translations into English translated this word as the "departing."
    1384 Wycliffe N.T.
That no man deceyue you in any maner / for no but departynge aweye (or dissencon) schal come firste & the man of synne schall be schewid [shewed] the sone of perdicioune.
    1534 Tyndale N.T.
Let no ma deceave you by eny meanes for the lorde commeth not excepte ther come a departynge fyrst and that that synfnll man be opened ye sonne of perdicion
    1535 Coverdale Bible
Let no man disceaue you by eny meanes. For the LORDE commeth not, excepte the departynge come first, and that Man of Synne be opened, even the sonne of perdicion.
    1539 Cranmer Great Bible
Let no man deceaue you by any meanes, for the Lorde shall not come excepte there come a departinge fyrst, & that that synfull man be opened, the sonne of perdicion.
    1549 Matthew's Bible
Let no man deceyue you by any meanes, for the Lord commeth not, except there come a departyng first, and that, that sinful man be opened, the sonne of perdicyon
    1565 Beza Bible
Let no man deceiue you by any meanes: for [that day shall not come,] except there come a departing first, and that man of sinne be disclosed, [euen] the son of perdition.
    1575 Geneva Bible
Let no man deceiue you by any meanes for that day shal not come, except there come a departing first, and that man of sinne be disclosed, euen the sonne of perdition.
They miss it in a small way because the Greek shows a definite article, THE departing. Paul was talking about a specific one. What departing did Paul have in mind? All we need do is look at Paul's theme, the rapture.
Here is what Strong tells us about this compound word.
The question is, CAN this word mean something else then apostasy? It is a compound word - "apo" and "stasia."
Here is what Strong says about "apo:"
    1. of separation…
    1A. of local separation,
1B. of separation of a part from the whole
1Bi. where of a whole some part is taken
1C. of any kind of separation of one thing from another…
1D. of a state of separation, that is of distance
1Di. physical, of distance of place
At the rapture, will some part of the entire population be taken? The answer is YES.
Will those taken be separated by DISTANCE? Again the answer is YES.
The other part of the compound word 'stasia" is where we get "stationary" or "not moving" from.
Putting these two words together then can certainly mean a part of a whole group suddenly moved from where they were to a new location, and it happen so fast, the rest of the whole group seems stationary - not moving.
In other words, Paul’s order of events in the rapture or gathering FIRST, as the restraining power, the Holy Spirit working through the believers, then the revealing, and after someone sees these two events, they can know for sure that the Day of the Lord has started, and they are then in it; they are under God’s wrath.
Therefore, the restrainer has to be with the church when it is raptured. Only the Holy Spirit fits as the restrainer. He promised never to leave us so when we go, He goes. However, He will still remain on earth to call people to repentance.

"in other words, the coming of our Lord and the rapture of the church will not come except these conditions."
Brother, you just jumped from "the Day of the Lord" ( a day of wrath and fierce anger: Isaiah 13) to the rapture!
Paul wrote, " Let no man disceaue you by eny meanes. For, excepte the departynge come first, and that Man of Synne be opened, even the sonne of perdicion." (Coverdale Bible: Old English)
Paul's meaning is, don't be deceived! If someone sees the significant departing [the rapture and the restrainer taken out of the way] and then sees the man of sin revealed then they will know The day of the Lord (That day of wrath and fierce anger) has already started and they are IN IT. (This is what they had apparently written to Paul, that they thought they were already IN the day of the Lord.)
Brother, always remember, "Shall not come" are ADDED WORDS that distract from Paul's real meaning. They thought they were INSIDE the day of the Lord.

    Rev. 4:1
Brother, I am EXTREMELY pre-trib, but I agree with you here. Revelation 4:1 is JOHN being caught up to heaven, probably around 95 AD. It is extremely bad exegesis to imagine the rapture is hidden here.
Paul tells us when the rapture will happen: JUST before wrath or the start of the DAY of His wrath which will begin at the 6th seal. ("The day of His wrath is come.") (This "is come" is from a Greek Aorist verb, a verb that has NO tense information. We get the timing from the verse of mention.
Then the Day of the Lord (or the day of His wrath, same thing) will begin as the final event at the 6th seal, and a few days later the 70th Week will begin at the opening of the 7th seal and with the first trumpet.

In 2 Thessa 2:5-12/paraphrased... Paul narrated that there is a "RESTRAINER" (someone in masculine gender who holds back, takes control, keep in order, subdue, prevent, check, tether, etc.) that when it is "Taken out of the way" (to remove, to release, to pull out, to retreat, etc.), then that is the only time the Son of Perdition /Lawless/Anti-Christ will be revealed in the middle of the 70th Week (final/last week) of Daniel.
The restrainer can not be GOD, for GOD can not be taken out away/pulled out/removed by Himself for no one is above GOD, it must be a "powerful masculine gender entity that is much lower" than GOD in status, it must be a heavenly servant of GOD like Archangel Michael who fought and defeated/restrained Satan and his angels. Just like the Policemen/law enforcers restrained the bad guys/criminals... It can not be the Holy Spirit for it has no gender. Paul specifically narrated the pronoun "He"... It can not be Christ's Church for it is Christ's Bride, therefore, the Church is in the female gender, "She" as the "Bride."
So, therefore, the real RESTRAINER that Paul is talking about is Archangel Michael, that when the Angel of GOD is ordered by GOD to be put out, pulled out, or taken out the restain from Satan, only then would Satan give powers to the Anti-Christ/Lawless/Son of Perdition and be revealed to the public.
In the book of Daniel, the 70th week of Daniel (final week) narrated that in the "Midst of the Week (3.5 days = 3.5 years) the Man of Lawlessness/Son of Perdition/Anti-Christ/666 will be revealed... In other words, Archangel Michael will be taken out of the way by GOD as the RESTRAINER of Satan who gives power to the 666/beasts/false prophets in the middle of the Tribulation, so that the 666 can be revealed... Amen.

"That day shall not come" that is a definite statement.
Sorry Brother, but those are words ADDED by translators. And sadly, many people form their theories on this passage from these ADDED WORDS. It is NOT that they thought the Day of the Lord was "at hand." that is a very bad translation. The Greek behind that is a perfect tense word, showing something finished in the past. The truth of the Greek is that they thought the day had ALREADY COME and they were facing God's wrath.
This is the best translation I can find of verse 3:
1535 Coverdale Bible (added words removed) 3 Let no man disceaue you by eny meanes. For, excepte the departynge come first, and that Man of Synne be opened, even the sonne of perdicion.

My Brother, I am looking at this through a different lens. John is seeing the Body of Christ around the throne in Chapter 7 but it does not say we just arrived. What I am seeing is a Council meeting and Christ, as High Priest is about to announce judgment and avenge the blood of the Saints that have been martyred for their faith in Christ, the first 4 Trumpet judgments. (See how bloody these judgments are, guilty blood for innocent blood). I see the Church raptured just before the sixth seal. Israel will be at war with her neighbors and there is a nuclear exchange because the language speaks of total destruction of Damascus and 4 other towns, one in north Israel, and speaks of a Hazmat team to clean up the waste. God will stop the exchange of nuclear weapons and missile exchanges with the events of a pole shift, Sixth Seal. When the Earth shifts and wobbles like a drunk the debris from the planets above will take out all satellites and the people on Earth will be thrown into chaos as never before. They will use the weapons for fuel after this because they are of no use as they run via computers. Truck, cars, tanks, phones, computers, TV, radio, cash registers, nothing will work. Man will not know how to move forward without technology but guess who will know exactly what to do and will declare, NO MORE WAR and confirm a peace agreement. He will have to set up a new calendar because the pole shift will change the rotation of earth. He will seek to change times and laws. There will not be religious holidays on his calendar because he will combine all religions. Food will be scarce and will have to be controlled by a mark on the hand or the forehead. It will all make perfect sense to those left alive. The world will be much smaller and centered in the Holy Land. Everything will revert back to the law and the people will believe this person who has put their world back together must be their Messiah and will worship him as such. The Church will not be missed because the world will think we are just part of the casualties of the pole shift. They will not be thinking of anything but how to survive. See how fast it all could happen. God has chosen to let his created Beings rule with Him and Christ is in charge of everything that happens in the Book of Revelation. I believe we have to be in the throne room with Christ as He makes these judgments because it is His will that we rule with him. Well, that is how I read it. The signs in the heavens is telling me it is time to look up and listen for His voice. I for one will not miss this mess we are living in now but it is so exciting to watch the end time events come to fruition. Shalom Church.

....and we have the Wrath of the Lamb in chapter 6. So accidently the pre-wrath rapture theology has to come back to pre-seven year Tribulation or not long after the beginning of the 7 years. If they are to be consistent with a pre-wrath model. The whole 7 years is The Lord judgement beginning and grows in magnitude to a climatic end. The battle of Jerusalem.

    • @Crossbowarcher
      @Crossbowarcher Рік тому

So satan's wrath at the midpoint, rev 12, is taking place while God is pouring out his wrath? The martyrs in the 5th seal are asking for God to pour out His vengeance, judgement. Why would they be asking for that if He is already doing it at that point? Also, the angel in chapter 14 says that they will be cast into Gods wrath after taking the mark of the beast, thus Gods wrath begins at the trumpets and ends when the bowls are finished. The bible never calls the seals gods judgement or wrath, but does call the trumpets and bowls his wrath and judgement.

    • @Crossbowarcher
      @Crossbowarcher Рік тому

Rev 6 is the realization at the rapture that His wrath is about to begin. The rapture will start His wrath after the seals, this is clear in rev 6. The greek verb aorist tense is always interpreted by the context, this is greek. It is never pointed out that this tense is used all through the chapter but not important until you need it to be something else.

The majority of pre-trib rapture believers say the Holy Spirit takes out the believers in the pre-trib rapture, but doesn't leave the Earth. They teach the Holy Spirit was restraining through the physical presence of believers, but of course God's Spirit is everywhere and will continue to work in the world, especially as God saves more people (they call them tribulation saints). So for the majority of pre-trib rapture believers, your whole teaching could be easily dismissed and they would probably stop listening before you finished - which is too bad. The wrong position you are defeating in your teaching is pre-trib teachers saying the Holy Spirit is removed completely, but this is a small minority usually of the extreme dispensationalist view which actually thinks salvation also changes during the 7 years to a works based salvation. They are so wrong, of course, but it would be nice to have presented both wrong positions in a teaching like this. We have a big job trying to root out the pre-trib rapture so fellow believers can be prepared for what is actually going to happen to us. Thank you.

    • @1969cmp
      @1969cmp 3 роки тому

....it's not your job to 'root out' people who have a different rapture model. Your job is to be an ambassador of The King and preach the Good News of His death and resurrection of Jesus from the grave.
Should we talk of His Glorious appearing ?
Absolutely. 'Encourage one another with these words'
Also be careful about saying that pretibbers believe those saved in the 7 years are saved by works. That could also be said towards those who believe the Church has to go through the Tribulation as a refining work.
What is sufficient is that Jesus Christ's work on the cross is sufficient for our salvation.

"God does not bring the great tribulation, Satan does..."
Brother, the days of great tribulation in Revelation will not begin until late in Revelation 14, AFTER God warns people of the mark of the Beast. This is confirmed because John saw the martyrs from the Beast BEGIN to show up in heaven in Rev. 15.
However, at the 7th trumpet, which marks the exact midpoint of the week, Satan is kicked off his throne as the "Prince" of the earth, and Earth is given to Jesus Christ and He begins to reign over the kingdoms at that time. We could say that HIS WILL will be done on earth then, as His will is done in heaven. What does Jesus do as the fist event after He begins to reign? Jesus DELEGATES 42 months of Authority to the Beast!
Because Jesus is reigning, and because He delegates 42 months of authority to the Beast, that means Jesus is BEHIND those days of Great tribulation. In other words, Satan will CAUSE those days, but God will authorize it.
In Revelation, the 70th week will go from Chapter 8 to Chapter 16. However, God will begin the DAY of the LORD at the 6th seal in chapter 6. In other words, God starts HIs wrath BEFORE He begins the WEEK. God then places the WEEK inside the Day of the Lord, so that every judgment of the Week will also be a judgment of the DAY and so will come with God's wrath. It is therefore impossible to separate God's wrath from Satan's wrath IN TIME, for they are contemporary.
The truth then is, GOD brings the days of great tribulation, but uses Satan to do it. We find God's PURPOSE in the days of Great tribulation in Daniel 12: to completely SHATTER the power of Israel. Today they trust in their IDF, but God will take that away, and will take Israel to the very edge of total destruction - so that ONLY GOD can deliever them - and that is what He will do. The truth then of the entire Week is that it is a time for the JEWS. God has no need or desire to "completely shatter" His church! It is only imagination that the church must go through those days of GT. I suspect that all Gentile tribulation believers will be put to death.

  • @LyleCooper
    @LyleCooper 4 місяці тому

"There is no such thing as "the tribulation..."
Granted, there is no verse that calls the entire 7 years "the tribulation." However:
    Matthew 24:29
Immediately after THE TRIBULATION of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
    Jesus said these words.
"the great tribulation starts at the midpoint..."
No, the days of great tribulation cannot start until the False Prophet shows up some UNKNOWN TIME after the exact midpoint. It will be the False Prophet that caused people to create the image and the mark, the things that CAUSE those days of great tribulation. In Revelation "those days" of "great tribulation" will not begin until after God warns the people about the mark in Chapter 14. (The exact midpoint is marked by the 7th trumpet.)

The Holy Spirits stops restaining the evil in the world, ..it does not mean it is taken away from the belivers !. The belivers will be in this world and the Holy Spirits will be in the belivers, but the Holy Spirit will not be able to make a differents in this world...as It stops restraining. There is a simular periode of time in the Bible where the diciples had the Holy Spirit ( from John 20:22 ), they knew who Judas ( the Son of predition / Antichrist) was...but they had no power to make a differents in this world. The Church was not yet born. They where told to WAIT. ( 10 days ) Then after Pentacost the Church was told by Jesus to go out and make diciples. Theese sequence of events will be reversed. And by the way..it looks to me that the rapture of the Church is between the sixth and the seventh seal in the Revelation.
