Poor Thor, he was just a god who seek the approval of his father and dying by Odin's hands.

He did not die the heartless destroyer that he was all his life for thousands of years, he redeemed himself in those last moments, he knew his father would kill him it’s not like Thor didn’t know his own father he knew he was dead the moment he decided to drop that hammer, but he stood tall, and he had enough, he died standing tall

Nuff Said. Had he lived, think he would have been a bro to Kratos and probably become like Marvel Comics Earth-616 Thor. Maybe not 100% like the Thor I know and love but I'd say around in between 30% and 40% or 50% give or take.

You know what I like about this GoW Thor is that mostly everything about him is so unique, like he isn't like GoW Zeus in terms of fighting, lightning powers and etc, definitely not like MCU Thor in terms of looks and personality, he isn't a literal copy paste of its real life myth counterpart, it's really just highly appreciated is all!!

And if he lived, have the potential to be like Marvel's Thor in the comics. From jerkass God of Heroic God. One day at a time and learn humanity and humility like a infant learning to walk for the first time. But then his own bastard father took that opportunity from him.

I've watched the spec vids on Egypt and japan. For the celtic mythology some possibilities, Atreus could face the Tuatha De Danann or Kratos could go up against Oberon. Some Asgardians could flee to Ireland, Atreus could fill the role of either Lugh or Cernunnos. Some food for thought.

An interesting history of Thor video. I theorize that Thor may have played a role in his mother Fjorgyn's death, possibly due to childbirth. It may even explain why Odin is so hard on Thor, and had him personally use Mjolnir to kill as many giants as possible. Thor even has it in his head that he's a destroyer and seems to take personal pride in that. If there's a versus video between Greek gods and Norse gods of god of war, I would like to pit Thor against Hercules. Hercules and Thor are always pitted against each other in different continuities, so why not in the god of war franchise. Hercules and Thor are comparable enough in strength to fight each other in the god of war universe.

Its a bit tricky but I have 2 theories
1st it was odin’s doing that his body disappeared since leaving a corpse there would give freya the idea to reanimate it just like mimir and thamur, if that had happen then it would be a disadvantage for him. Hence his spear made his body vaporize
2nd it has to do something with the weapon based on past gow games athena’s corpse vaporized because it was stabbed with the blade of olympus same goes for zeus but was a bit late since kratos beaten him to death but still got stabbed on a side note this can be counter since kronos body might have not disappeared

Kinda Disappointed in this story it should've been better than that. Kinda felt like the story was sloppy with Thor much like his design. Shame I was hoping he was gonna do more

Thor couldn’t even beat Faye gets destroyed by Kratos when both at full power the gets killed like a fly by his father

Thor was drunk when he fought Faye, so he was less effective. Even with that, Faye was skilled enough to fight Kratos when they first met, so it means that Faye was a formidable warrior worthy to fight Thor, and the fact that Faye was still unable to kill Thor just shows how powerful Thor really was as a warrior. Plus, Thor was still powerful enough to give Kratos a challenge in both of their fights, even though Kratos does defeat Thor in their last battle. Thor shouldn't be underestimated, and while Odin did kill Thor when his guard was down, I do think that Odin had more overall power than Thor.

he is still a rookie tough . kratos destroyed titans and gods and furies and hekatonchires and the fate itself + destroyed his whole civilisation then went to the norse realms and destroyed asgard and caused the death of 5 asgardian gods without counting thor himself who is the 6th .
all of this without counting the Mystical other huge creatures he killed in greece and egypt (comics) and norse realms .

Hey HBT. The runic warrior in the beginning’s O is wrong. It looks like it says warriar? I don’t know, I might be wrong I don’t know what that symbol is. I just know the O looks like a fish lol
