How To Professionally Color Grade C-Log3 In FCPX!

Today we are taking a look at how I color grade clog3 footage straight from the canon R6 in 2022. I use finally cut pro and a series of specific LUTS and color editing techniques to get cinematic and vibrant colors within my shots. I hope you enjoy and all links will be down below.

Thank you so much for this. As I write, I am awaiting delivery of my own Air 2S. I am experienced photographer and use Photoshop. This looks approximately as easy as that, and I already love doing color correction. I am looking forward to learning how to process my footage properly so I can get all that 10 bit goodness out of it.

Hey Matt, amazing video! I was wondering; do you also shoot your vlogs in clog3? I want to start vlogging but using clog3 seems like a lot of work tinkering with all the manual stuff in changing conditions when vlogging? Can you give me some tips?

Normally I use clog3 and I set iso to auto, shutter to 1/60 and apature to 2.8 or 4. I also use an variable ND filter so I just twist it to brighten and darken the image plus I set white balance to auto
