Keep it loose, the extra conversation is great and makes the whole episode more interesting. If you focus too much on time, then the hunter will too to the detriment of the interesting discussion. Great series, keep it up

15k choice instead of a over hyped steel Daytona - daily watch I’d go for a Vacheron overseas chronograph blue dial on a bracelet or complete left field - a Breguet marine chronograph in gold, black dial on a rubber strap . 30k choice probably a AP Royal Oak but in a panda dial configuration or PP 5146 annual calendar in white gold - absolute grail piece A Lange Zeitwerk Striking time in platinum or an FP Journe Ruthenium
the 15K-30K Overseas days are back if you're good with the black or silver dial.... but forget dual time, or blue dial.. And if you want the rose gold with blue dial, you're north of $70-90K depending on condition and reputation of dealer.
There are so many superb watches that never get a mention. These two need to explore the many other excellent brands that are far cheaper and even better built . The same old brands again that are so common and over priced. Rolex in particular is way over priced not that well built, but does appeal to many who know very little about watches. These sort of buyers are actually buying for other people to look at. But they do keep their value better than most.
Just a short cautionary note about Chrono24 selling into UK from EU. I live in France and last week sold a watch to a UK buyer. I sent it to him via FedEx. Paid the courier fee and it went off to be delivered three days later or so. I do not know if the buyer was charged import duty into UK from EU. But I have just received an invoice from FedEx for about 52 euros over the courier fee for export handling and related costs and fees! This is ridiculous and has left me feeling that should I sell another watch into UK I would refuse to do so.
This channel has potential. If Chrono24 wants to reach out international viewers (and not only german), I think they should swap Pascal out. (no offence). There's a missing chemistry and flow in my opinion.
My alternatives... 3watch from 15-30.000$: Audemars Piguet royal oak offshore 42 or 44mm, Breguet tradition retrograde date white gold or Breguet alarme musicale white gold, Blancpain 50 fathoms no rad 40.3mm or Omega snoopy 3.. My dream watch is Breguet equation of time marchante or Breguet classique double tourbillon.
Vacheron Constantin traditionnelle world time in rose gold you can find for 24,000eu but for me is bether alternative JLC Geophysics because it have death seconds and bether movement and you can find it for 11,000 stainless steel..rose gold is from 17and up.. Rolex daytona stainles steel cost 24,000eu but for me is bether alternative Zenith chronomaster sport 41mm which you can find for 10,000eu.. its bether product and movement but dont have hype like rolex.. Blancpain 50fathoms no rad 40,3mm is amazing timepice on secondhand market cost 22,750eu but you always can buy Blancpain fifty fathoms 45mm with stainless steel for 11,000eu and you will be part of this diving collection.. My dream timepice is JLC master grande tradition gyrotourbillon 3 jubile because of rare tourbillon and rare chronograph..
A Glasshütte as an alternative to a daytona? It’s not even a chronograph. Seriously? When you could have picked the Zenith el primero sport ? ( you know, that watch that is better finished, better priced , available without kissing AD’s ass, and that you did a biased review about recently)
Parmigiani Fleurier Tondagraph GT would be a good contender for the 15-30k category or a Vintage Heuer Skipper from the late 60s! Albeit, I have to damit that the temptation towards the "mainstream" classics ist immense in that category 🤔 Adrian was a great participant! I would even appreciate it if the rounds were split in multiple videos (one each week?).
Adrian, such a Rolex fanboy! I did like your Explorer selection for grail, but there are so many others with an unlimited budget - need more imagination! Fun format and yes, you should hold their feet to the fire on time!
I would go for an FP Journe, or maybe a Debethune. Could even go for an A. Lange or......an MB&F. Even a Jacque Droz with automaton. There are so many, but to go for a model because of 3 black letters......?

I also really like the Vacheron, great horology that can be an understated piece to anyone not obsessed with watches, yet greatly appreciated by those bitten by the bug. At under $15K, I’d look at the Yaghtmaster II with the rhodium dial - that thing is $$. Id also look at maybe a limited set Speedy, or something from IWC. The grail piece has to be Patek!
I suggest using a chronograph watch as a timer for the next watch hunt video and show the chronograph watch face instead of the blue box graphic timer. That would be cool. As for Adrian' pick for the 1st hunt, Blue dial for the VC and black dial for the Daytona and its perfect! Suprising that the 2nd hunt did not have a Rolex for Adrian, it should be the perfect robust watch for everyday. Is there a rule not to pick something that you already have?
