These are actually based off the S cores. He had a spare set laying around from a previous core so had Pure rework those (700 wheel). They still made really good power (526whp).
Am thinking once I’m out of warranty (Mar 2024) some upgrades are to be done. A 991.2 Targa with manual trans and never to be tracked. Start with tune and air intake? Exhaust worth the investment at that level?
@@TMac915 It really depends on your goals from a power standpoint. We really like the GTS turbos w/ tune. You can certainly start with the tune and exhaust. They both will transfer if you want to do GTS turbos in the future.
@@Flat6Motorsports I need to out a budget together to see if I can justify. I like the power now; really enjoy the deceleration pops but from the UA-cam I saw that Jay Read did of all the options…the options are enticing. Can you publicly talk about the build as you propose or is that an off-line dialog? Thanks for the reply, btw.
Wow you can hear the PDK Tune really makes a difference.
Yep, great setup - I’d love to upgrade to a carrera T from my 981 S. Maybe one day :)
Would love to see pics of these cars! You leave me hanging is suspense 😊
We plan to add it to our blog/build section of the website shortly. If you email us, I can shoot you some photos too (info@flat6motorsports.com)
Whats the highest power level you guys have made on E85?
Would Tial be the top end upgrade? One step up from the Pure?
Not necessarily, they’re pretty similar in sizing and material quality
Would you need to have the clutch upgraded for this or the GTS turbos?
Nope, same clutch
To clarify, these are GTS turbos, upgraded by Pure Turbos? Any power figures on this customer’s setup as it sits?

Very nice!! Thanks for the clarification.

They made this car with the small turbos. Because they know people would mod this model.
I can make a case both ways. Considering doing this mod but love the lack of lag. Oh, to just afford 500+ NA!
Could be true… But at the same time the percentage of people who are willing to void of warranty is a very small percentage of the buyers.
@@Bizb525did it to mine. Don’t care about the warranty.
