How about telling us HIW TO INSTALL THE CAMERA OUTSIDE….. says it’s wireless but a dang wire and it doesn’t shine through a window so u HAVE to install it outside . How though
Some suggestions: 1. Lower the sensitivity. 2. Set an alert zone to only the area where you want movement to trigger alert. 3. Tapo has an AI-recognition service which you can enable for a fee in the app, then disable movement alerts and have the app only alert you of real people.
I cant recall if this camera was POE or not. (I review a lot of cameras lol) but yes, you would need an ethernet cable from your modem or a switch connected to your modem to plug into this camera. If it is POE you would not need the power cable, just a POE Switch that would give the camera power. If its not POE then you would need the ethernet cable and power for it. Hope that all makes sense, I know its a lot lol.

This camera only works with a power cable. It doesn't have a battery.
Will this camera work with Apple Home?
No, it will not that I know of. Not many work with Apple home.
