Theo Paphitis is an English-Cypriot retail magnate and entrepreneur famous for his time on BBC show Dragon’s Den. He is the owner of stationary chain Rymans, and sold lingerie brand La Senza for a reported £100 million. This leaves his estimated worth as £286 million, making him the 406th richest person in Britain as of the 2017 Sunday Times rich list.

The so called Cyprus problem is not yet solved, not because the Greek Cypriots and the Turkish Cypriots cannot live together in peace, but because of the military invasion of 1974 by the Turkish army, which is still there in full force, literally controlling the occupied north of the island. The other big obstacle towards a solution, is the huge colonisation of the occupied north of the island by the settlers from mainland Turkey.
Every time there are peace talks between the two sides, they fail because Turkey insists on not withdrawing from the island the huge Turkish army that is still there. Turkey on numerous occasions, has made very clear it’s wish to control the whole of the island. This is something that the Greek Cypriots will never accept and I believe that the indigenous Turkish Cypriots would not accept either.

I own a high-street retail business and I'm doing great. My biggest problem is that there are many companies like Theo hogging the best locations still and what he wants is the gov to step in and help him out instead of letting the natural order come in and takeover. Sorry his business might not be doing as well as it use too but no one has the right to print money.
What would be an efficient counterforce that would balance the deficiency between political opportunity; i.e. as representation of a collective of conflicting forces that represent the financial consequences of QE strategy, as to the independence of the functional integrity of the economy, without the awarenes of its volume and velocity of its electorate?

Well, Stew - 3 years on and every word Theo 'stuttered through' can now be seen to be true. In 2023 the total failure of anybody (whether elected or not) to actually run the country is evident in every aspect of your life.
