I'm indifferent about just adding more stunty teams, unless they bring something new to the table, likewise with star players and even big guys. It's good that skills are becoming more important than stars, but there is still one HUGE unaddressed imbalance in the game. I'm talking offense. I'm talking offensive balance. Specifically run-pass balance. How many 'passing' teams are there? Not that many. How often do you see a rolling cage? ...almost every drive....a passing pocket? very rarely. How often does a team feature the deep passing game as more than a 'hail mary, end of half thing? I feel strongly that more diverse gameplans, and winning strategies are far more important than a diversity of stars or even teams. I'd love to hear others opinions on this...
I completely agree with not adding more stunty teams (unless its Nurglings because come on). I think that it would be cool to add more passing, like they should definitely add back High elves and maybe make a new team like tzeentch, or slaanesh, but don't just make them a variation of chaos chosen that would be a bit boring. But more passing teams is something that I would like to see.
We still need: Headsplitter, Horkon Heartripper, Hthark the Unstoppable, chaos dwarves, prince Moranion, high elves, khemri, a Tzeentch team, a Slannesh team, a minotaur team, a Bretonnian team. There's probably more I'm forgetting.
playing vampires in my first blood bowl league since the current rule set and at first i was a bit underwhelmed, as they struggled real hard in the preseason & first real game. but the moment I got a few skills on my vampires the team just went nuts. The runners especially are absolute nightmares that have pulled off so many impossible plays, and everyone in the league hates them. Best positionals in the team by far, it's funny that the devs somehow thought they were worth less than the other vamps.
These rankings are always hard to interpret because rulesets can be so very different. I've seen Elf union in tier 4 in a 5 tier system where they get enough skills to be scary, but I've seen others put them in tier 2 in a 3 tier system where they get absolutely destroyed. Khorne is honestly probably another extreme example of that. The roster is awful as a normal 1000TV but with the right skill packages they can be good.
I found that if the tournament allows double normals it's totally worth it to take Safe Throw and Canoneer on bombers. With that combination you thrown 10 squares on a 3+ and only fail on a 2. That's something Bomba can't do.
I find it quite odd how very stable, predictable teams like the dwarfs can jump up and down in the rankings by 10+ spots each month. With well over a dozen hours of advanced statistics under by belt... WTF?!? :) Dwarfs (for example) have gotten no "new tricks" in my lifetime, get plenty of plays, EVERYONE knows what to expect...how/why can they jump up and down in the rankings by 10+ slots month after month???
Coming from the competitive mtg scene to blood bowl these videos are the best and closest thing to meta websites we have for bb. Keep doing these!

A Tzeentch team would be interesting
Cool! Really looking forward to next months 7's stats 😊 Been trying to look up 7's info so that will be very much appreciated
I'm taking Goblins to a tournament near the end of the month. I'm not expecting to win games, so I decided to attempt to be the most lethal team.
Please keep doing these videos. I love the stats, without having to go to the NAF website to get them, haha.
Consider: Nurgling Team
Imagine a daemonic familiar team

Looking forward to the Pirates of sartosa team, nippon team, tzeench team, slanesh team and squig/night goblin team.

underworld will go down alot i think, thanks the upload.
I think if nothing else, this video shows just how much of an anomaly last months rankings were!
Undead Halflings, stunty with regen!
Incoming vamp nerf in November FAQ
Vampires spike 16 Gnomes 17?
Yes
Black orcs could do with 50k re rolls. Makes sense as they are the most well trained of greenskins.
If only there was some statistical analysis of leagues ...

They are extremely ruleset and matchup-dependent i guess. They can perform significantly different in two different tournaments.
Black Orcs cant take Hakflem fyi
Still no vampire spike
16 features vampires
Yes but on the graphic on the video it has gnomes as spike 16. When vampires are spike 16 and gnomes are spike 17.
