Yeah, there is nothing better in Blood Bowl than watching a Wardancer rolling double 1s on a dodge, having their armor breached, and getting carted off the pitch with an injury.
"Favored Of..." has to be Nurgle. Yes, they have Rotters but it's fun to give them random mutations as the majority of them are useful. Bloaters are great: Foul appearance means there's a (very slim) chance of a blocker/blitz wasting their action, which is good against heavy hitter/blocking teams. Disturbing presence makes it more difficult for a passing team due to area of affect that stacks! On top of that, Stregth 4, Armour 10+ and regeneration means they are very tough to kill. Pestigors are fast(ish) with horns making them ideal for blitzing. Again, regeneration and 9+ armour makes them tough to kill as well. Beast of Nurgle is stregnth 5, has Foul appearance and Disturbing presence (see above) as well as mighty blow, regen and tentacles which is great against players with dodge. Finally, "Plague ridden" means that most opposition players killed turn into a free rotter! Therefore, Nurgle is the best, I rest my case your honour! :)
Great video as always Ben! Wardancers and Griff, two of the most infamous gits on the field. As for your question on top 5 Favourite Favoured of...Teams 1. Chaos Chosen - The OG, my favourite fluff and design. 2. Khorne - Very close second, super fun gameplay, great fluff and the miniatures look amazing 3. Nurgle - Tough, disruptive and challenging to play. Unique slant to the Chaos Teams' bash orientated play 4. Chaos Renegades - Bunch of silly gits who come together to cause trouble. Fun but not Chaosy enough 5. Chaos Dwarf - Least Chaosy team and put in just out of necessity. To me, not really "chaos".
Top 5 Favored of Teams for me: 5. Chaos Chosen. With two of the four Chaos gods getting personal teams, these guys are just too basic. 4. Nurgle. They just need too much help to really get good. 3. Norse. Who doesn't love Beer Boars and all that Block?! 2. Chaos Renegades. They really are a top flight team with a nice toolbox of possibilities. Plus who wouldn't want two minotaurs? 1. Khorne! Yes, they might spend more time on the Blood side of Blood Bowl, but they can pull it off as good if not better than other bash heavy teams. Also they get Scyla Anfingrimm and his regulation socks!
1. Renegades - building a team from a random assortment of oddball players (both physically and rules wise) is so much fun. It gives you a team dripping with personality throughout a league. 2. Khorne. I love the tactical craziness you can get into with Frenzy, so a team filled with it? Yes please. 3. Chorfs. I don't care if they're not real goblins - Hobgoblins are still cool as fuck. :) Oh yeah, and there's the Minotaur too, plus having Dwarfs running around is fun in a "screw you and your dodgy elves" kinda way. 4. Chosen. One day I'm going to run a team of cows. And it's going to be glorious. 🐄 5. Nurgle. I do love an underdog. Especially an underdog that smells awful, your opponent will hate to face and has tentacles everywhere. 😊 6. Norse. Sorry Norse, but I just don't like you. I *should* like Norse, with its Frenzy and Beer Boars, but I've played against them enough to have a negative view on them. So they get the bottom spot.
For the favored of... list, know these are a long shot but the secret league Tzeentch, Slaanesh, Beastmen, Daemons of Malal, and Daemons of Nurgle list are all fun to try
Idk why ao many comments are saying teams that don't fit the requirements; 1. chaos renegades. Crafting your own team out of spare models and bits, then giving them suxh a wide variety of skills and mutations, really makes the team feel so personal. Mine is a team of cheerleaders, Ive seen teams from lots of random old fantasy kits. Just a great team to for everything. 2. norse. Personal bias, i love playing this team 3. Chorfs, bias because ive played against some beautiful metal teams and its felt so old school 4. Chosen. I feel like at the start they feel so grim, the (GW) models are dull and they start off so clunky. But man, they just feel cool. I think im swayed by the poses they make in the video game versions. 5. Nurgle. I hate playing against them and the (GW) pestigors are awful models but they feel so fun to play as and have such a nice variety of positions
I am biased to the Chaos Dwarves. An eclectic blend of strength, speed, combat skill and mediocrity. Looking forward to the regeneration of them off the teams of legends.
Not going to lie, my anti-elf grudges were riding high going into this 😂 Fave teams: 1) Goblins - So many conversion possibilities with the positionals combined with so much havoc! 2) Orcs - Love the classic models 3) Humans - Just a good solid team with so much fluff possibilities 4) Nurgle - Happy bois are happy (and slow) 5) Slann - to leap or not to leap... is never really a question
Favoured of teams: (tough choices, 1 & 2 for me are probably interchangeable) 1 Khorne The figures are cool and so is frenzy. Khorngors and Bloodseekers seem brutal. Hoping to have a team by years end. 2 Norse The team seems a great package to me, the sculpts, the skills, theme and character. Damn I need to assemble and paint them up. 3 Chaos Renegades Love the concept and the mix of player types. That rag tag bunch that could achieve anything, if they work together lol. Have come close many times to making a team, maybe one day will do a sevens team. 4 Chaos Dwarves Like the bull centaur players and sneaky hobgoblins. Brings back memories as a kid on summer days playing in a friend's backyard who had the full team with stars. Difficult to play against. Much respect. 5 Chaos Chosen Love seeing people play beastmen and minotaur only, looks so feral and strong. Yeah I'm a bit of a beastman fan. Really hoping to see future Slaanesh or Tzeentch favoured teams. Maybe one day GW will surprise us 😅 Slaanesh: their style, skills and agility with a mix of mutations is alluring. Should be a great team. Tzeentch: avian styling with a touch of magic and mutations should also be a fine mix. I like birds.
An idea for a top 5 list is top five rule changes that are needed: Mine are: - improved rules to encourage more passing - Better spp distribution - A (very small) chance for defence to go first after kickoff - ability to use a reroll not to reroll but keep original roll and void a turnover (although could be a huge buff) - leader/pro/sure hands may need to be in other categories
1. Renegades: The composition of the team where every single player has lots of character, the customization it gives selecting minis from different teams and designers, the big guys,... the quintessence of Bloodbowl ( please bring them in the next Championship 🤩) 2. Humans: One of my main teams since lots of time, the jack of all trades master of none 3. Lizardmen: My first team with the cutiest players ever (Skinks
Favorite favored: Chaos Chosen. Sure they start fairly unremarkable, but they're the ultimate "your dudes" team. Their skill access is varied, and with primary mutations, you can really sculpt each player to do a unique job without worrying about squandering existing skills. OR you can do the foolish thing I love, give all of your goats random mutations hoping to model them after them for extra cool factor, and end up with five Iron Hard Skin-s. 🙃
I keep telling people in my league the wardancer is far more annoying the the one Gutter I can take. Someone in our league as 2 of them and they are really annoying and need killing, although I did still win 2-1, despite my Rat Ogre having an MNG for the game
1. Gnome - loving the models and the theme of the team. 2. Humans - Been my main team since the early 00s. 3. Snotling - love the chaos that they can cause on the pitch. 4. Haflings - love the theme of the team. 5. OWA - I like the all star feel of the team but made it their own. Another great episode
A list which, the top slot excluded, says that people hate it when ordinary is good at something. (Ordinary not big, not small, just normal sized, and not a Star Player.) Ordinary can be useless, that's fine. Bjg Guys can be competent, sure and short arises can be useful players, lovely. But give a positional skills and stats with above average synergy a bteak...only if it's his neck. This dislike of fluid, skillful attacking play with free scoring games and the players that make it possible is profoundly depressing and leads to the skirmish combat with the ball as a mere objective marker type of game. Ie. Dull.
Yeah, there is nothing better in Blood Bowl than watching a Wardancer rolling double 1s on a dodge, having their armor breached, and getting carted off the pitch with an injury.
It's always my woody linemen that fail the dodge. The wardancers never need the reroll
"Favored Of..." has to be Nurgle.

Adding on to the Star Players - when Dribblesnot or Piewhistle fumbles their bomb and blows themselves up. It's a moment I always root for.
1. Khorne
2. Norse
3. Chaos Renegades
4. Chaos Chosen
5. Nurgle
That's my list for "Favored Of..." teams.
Based solely on playstyle.
Fine list 😊

Favored of teams with the most character is Norse
and Nurgle.
1. Norse
2. Chaos Chosen
3. Chaos Dwarves
4. Nurgle
5. Korne
I always cheer against dwarfs, even If I'm playing them
I'm definitely gonna be on this list.
1. Chorfs with hats
2. Chorfs without hats
3-5. Other
Chorfs just resonate with me, although I 100% understand the dislike towards dwarf-blockers.

Damn right. Very much enjoyed. I hate wardancers with a passion.
you do love a good "egregious " :)
My list isn't long:
1st is a Carnival style Nurgle team, because duh.
2nd place is Renegade because of the sheer chaotic mix and the Gobbo, of course.
I keep telling people in my league the wardancer is far more annoying the the one Gutter I can take. Someone in our league as 2 of them and they are really annoying and need killing, although I did still win 2-1, despite my Rat Ogre having an MNG for the game

I think you had the positionals spot on, but the order was slightly wrong. #2 should be skaven gutter runner and #1 Underworld gutter runner

Hi !
Skaven motto: Fail Big, or Stay Home!
As a Dwarf player I can promise you 1 die block from blocker does not always work😅
It still haves a 50% chance to work if the opp don’t have block, it’s not really a high risk
Every chaos players! Chaos destroyed the old world and that is bad!
Dwarfs just zap the fun from the game at 1 mil tv🤦🏻♂️,they are even deadlier at 7’s where MV4 is ok,Poor amazons😂
1 renegades love the mix. 2 khoren frenzy 3 choosen st4 blitz! 4 chorfs the centores then nurgle they suck
Can't believe gutter runners aren't number 1 hahahaha
