Good video enjoyed watching. In my experience the Lima locomotives are very reliable. My most recent purchase was a Lima Class 52 Western Pioneer. Thanks for showing. Regards Paul.
Hi John. that was very interesting. Of the 263 Brush type 2's listed in my 1962 combined volume I saw all but 73 0f them and sadly D5500 was not one I saw. I'll certainly be keeping an eye out for a Lima one. Cheers, David.
Thanks David, when I was at kings Cross in 72,73, the drivers called them 55's because of their numbering . They had hard suspension, but were reliable machines.
Hi Jon, another great video. I really like the Lima class 31, I,v got 2 Triang & 1 Airfix 31s. Your class 50s are in nice liveries and run well. You can,t beat Lima diesels. All the best butty. Carl.
Hi John, you are correct that the multiple-coupling connectors on the Lima 50s need touching up, and it looks like you have done an excellent job - I have tried getting 50149 with these well painted wondering if sometimes they came out of the factory with a good finish, but they are rare, and maybe touched up by someone. Please can you say which orange paint you use as it looks quite correct? Thanks for another great video!
Nice video John thanks 👍

Thanks for the videos . The prototype info on the class 31 was interesting. Perhaps you could get an Airfix version to complete your collection.
And thank you for watching 👀. If I see a reasonable one I probably won't be able to resist!

Hi its not crucial but I use mango orange acrylic paint. Have a wet cocktail stick standing by ! May require two coats.
