I saw them about 12 times after that, but the combo of Coal Chamber opening and meeting Peter and Josh made that night the bestest!

So he records these masterful gifts to us fans to put himself out there & draw more attention to his own talent than he would've without making these perfect covers. The unfortunate reality is that anyone making this kind of music independently is simply not going to pay all the bills by only doing this as it's not commercially viable. Therefore it does technically become a hobby (which is perfectly fine) & other forms of income must be found. I actually prefer it that way as then the music doesn't get watered down to cater to a market, they have full artistic freedom. But I wish I had tons of money to give talented ppl like this a mansion, I believe they deserve it. I only took issue with your first comment as 1) there's nothing sad about this guy, I'm sure he's not stupid to not know about how the music business works. And 2) doing what you say is a good idea for him to do will definitely not give him financial freedom. I'm not saying there's no money in it, just not enough for him to be rolling in the dough which is financial freedom. These types of artists always need another source of income unfortunately. Seriously commend you sir. Im a life long typo fan and just played this one loud as all hell without watching. For a minute i thought Peter came back. The day he died has a strange memory. I was at the Roadburn doom/stoner festival. Peter died that same weekend and on the day the volcano in Iceland exploded. Many bands didn't make it to the venue and were replaced because the airplanes could not fly due to the dust cloud from the volcano. That volcano was dubbed as Peter's dying last breath that entire weekend and all the bands paid homage to him.
This is insane, I never thought there’d ever be anyone that could replicate peter steele’s sound but this is spot on! The music as a whole is so type o negative that I definitely would believe this is a real cover if someone played it for me

There are three obvious routes to follow from here: (1) You keep doing this UA-cam thing, which is fine by me; (2) you reassemble Type O somehow and fill the very large shoes of Pete (I believe Josh is an EMT now, so that might be difficult); (3) or you get the blessing to release a LP of covers performed by “Type O”. It's like Type O Negative is releasing new music. You should try "Change in the House of Flies" by the Deftones. That would blend two of my most favorite bands. However, I can get enough of this.
