Awesome Shots Ben. It's so cool that you got to experience the locations of such as great film such as "The Fog." The views are so haunting, yet so beautiful. By the way, your wife and you look adorable together. I'm so happy for you. One of your best videos!!!
Thanks my friend. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Thank you for the kind words about my wife. She is amazing and I am lucky. It was really an experience going to the location. Very surreal. I think it is one of my favorite videos that I have done. Thanks so much again
what a great vid Ben!! Love that film and being at that location had to be a thrill....just picked up the SCREAM FACTORY release of THE FOG..should be great.
Cool man I love movie location places, I have an awesome time in NJ at no be Bosco camp. Next up Marthas vineyard for jaws location, not that far from me. Take care.
I mean... I'm not trying to start a geography war here, especially because I don't think that the labelling detracts from your video at large. Just telling you, as somebody who lives right next to Pt Reyes (and who could semi-automatically name all locations from The Fog and Village of the Damned just because we drive by there all the time), that the beach you labeled is not Stinson Beach. Stinson Beach is a discrete location several dozen miles SE from the lighthouse (not visible from there), and it cannot be reached via Sir Francis Drake Blvd (you take Hway 1). I think the disconnect stems from the simple fact that yes, the The Fog title (which you got at 1:53) does indeed look like it shows Stinson Beach - but that's a different beach from the one you're showing :) The beach you're showing looks like South Beach Overlook, near the light house. The driving shot at 3:27 is that very beach you show. But it's a different one from the title shot, and has a different name. Ultimately that just means more locations to visit, right? :)
This is Drake’s Bay part of Point Reyes National Seashore. Stinson Beach is south of this and it’s Bolines Bay. Both beaches look very similar so I get the confusion.
Love this sort of stuff !!!! So interesting so thankyou American friends from an Australian admirer xoxox
Awesome video!!, it's great to see what the interior looks like, that's something scream factory didn't get to do in there "On Location" video.

That is a terrific release. It was a complete thrill to go down to the lighthouse. It is one hell of a steep hike back up but totally worth it

Too cool you are close to Martha's Vineyard. I hope you do a video if you go there.
2:32: That's not Stinson Beach :) That's shot from the south beach overlook, I believe. Stinson Beach has an actual town attached and looks different.
Matthias Worch it was documented on a Horrors Hallowed ground episode that it is Stinson beach. It was also confirmed by John Carpenter himself
