My mom is 54 years old only. She was living independently until this year 2020 when we noticed how forgetful she was getting and eating cookies and crackers everyday when we would visit her. She would keep going around the block several times until she would finally find the house to park. When we took her in and received the news we were so heartbroken because she is just TOO young to have this disease. I hope there is a miracle for my mom too. My mom was diagnosed with dementia and declined quickly, nothing she said made any sense and was totally confused when she could find words at all. One night my mom fell out her bed at the nursing home and hit her head on the base of the IV pole, she was black and blue. About two weeks later it happened again, she was rushed to the hospital and never showed any signs of dementia ever again. She spoke logically from that day on. Please pray for my Mother Marlene Lehtonen. She's 67 and has just been diagnosed with severe dementia. She was in hospital majority of last year. They said she was probably 8 weeks all up not in hospital. She had a stroke Easter Saturday and massive surgery for stomach ulcer. That was her second stomach ulcer the other was in 2019. She has had higher than the highest case of cerebral hemmorhage in 2002. She came out with no problems from the cerebral hemmorhage. We found as she kept getting delirium last year she has Nash liver cirhosiss. She had class C. Later after everything it went to B. She had a seizure in front of me and a heart flip. She went into cardiac arrest. They did CPR for what they said was 5-10 mins. It felt like 10. I just prayed she survive and she wasn't brain dead or dead. She had no brain bleed either. The Dr said she had til the Sunday in September to wake up. He said he doesn't think she will wake up. He said he has been wrong before but he doesn't think he's wrong. Then the ventilator will come out and she will die. The Sunday came I stayed the night trying to wake her up. Played music for her talked to her, prayed with her. The next morning I asked the Dr for longer. He went to deliberate. Came back to say he will call the shots the ventilator will come out. He was lovely and sympathetic just giving his professional opinion. Church friends and a minister came to pray over her. Two relatives came. I tried again to see if she could have half my liver. Two drs said she wouldn't survive and her kidneys were failing. I couldn't give a kidney either. My older brother came at the end. Mum and I are estranged from him. That was not our choice. He has a wife and three children and loves them and is hard working at least. Just before the ventilator came out she opened her eyes. Definitely God! A miracle from the Lord. She had delirium for a long time. Then one day she snapped out of it. She was completely back to normal. I was told there was some brain damage she likely would always have some element of it. Then the MRI showed no brain damage. She was on the way to coming home after rehab. Then after a while at rehab her delirium came back. The Liver specialist thought it was HE. Which they said she did have. She even said she might be able to get a liver transplant. She would need to go to a clinic though to get asessed. Also she wasn't that bad to need one. Then younger drs thought it was brain damage. She ended up going into a nursing home. She has had the delirium since just before Oct 30th til now. They say dementia now. She did have a UTI when tested at Bowral hospital on Sunday. She went to the hospital as she started screaming things out after going red and ridged. She had episodes of this at the hospital too. Once they gave her some medicine she calmed down. I found out through the CT scan that from the stroke mum lost a chunk of her brain from the frontal lobe. They were dead cells they can't get back. Please pray for God to heal her and restore her mind and body. I pray she doesn't have dementia. Praying it's a misdiagnosis or that he will cure her. If he could please send another miracle. Prayers are appreciated immensely. Would mean the world 🙏

Her case is a few rare ones showing that the injury of neck, where the nerves are concentrated, recovered neck itself and the neurons at the same time as a secondary effect. In the sense that it happened to her and others witnessed this, is a miracle. This case should be more examined to find a breakthrough in the treatment of dimentia. We can do more than just pray. We should make effort scrutinising these small cases, scientifically, which we easily dismiss.
Yes, in that time healing from her neck injury, the glucose and nutrient may have been more balanced along with good rest. The doctor should post her medical records and treatment while she was in the hospital because with prayer something else helped. Give all the info not just prayer.

She was in the Hospital because of an Alzheimer's pill that she tried, which removed her sodium and left her with an electrolyte imbalance and delirium. She also had diabetes and high blood pressure, well, they found out that she was allergic to ALL blood pressure meds and Metformin, the HARD WAY....they almost killed her!! Alzheimer's caused my mother to only get 2 to 4 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period. However, at the Hospital, something happened that caused her to sleep for 16 hours. Her Blood Pressure was so low that they were getting ready to take her to the ICU, her blood sugar was low also. The Doctors couldn't wake her up, so I told the nurse to get me some orange juice for her. I start tapping her face back and forth (annoyingly) until she opened one eye - I yelled, "DRINK this" - she did - the other eye opened up too, her blood pressure and glucose went to normal....and THEN she REMEMBERED EVERYTHING!!! WHAT HAPPENED??? I told the Doctors, "Hey, this is your cue, you have to look into this". I said, "what did you do to make her cognition come back?" You know what? They could care less!! They said that their only concern was to get my mother home. They couldn't wait to kick her out and she's got great insurance but they just don't care. I've been buying every supplement on Earth to try to bring her cognition back. NOTHING is working! Exercise does help to slow it down a bit, I noticed that right away when she refused and rapidly got worse a few months after. I think controlling the blood sugar and blood pressure is a must, it sure couldn't hurt. I think it has something to do with narrowing arteries in your neck and probably the Blood Brain Barrier. I don't think there's enough oxygen going to the brain. Now, was it the Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar being too low that brought back her cognition (because she was COLD, that would lower the inflammation) or the 16 hours of sleep that helped? Maybe her arteries relaxed and the blood flowed better. I don't know but I won't quit trying to find out. I'm not going to drop the ball like these Doctors did.
My mother regained her cognition for 24 hours in the Hospital. I begged the Doctors to look into how it happened but they said that their only concern was to get my Mother stable so she can go home. They dropped the ball. This happened in 2019. My theory is that it has to do with issues with the arteries, blood vessels and/or the Blood Brain Barrier. It could be a plumbing problem. There is only one thing that this lovely lady that is cured from Alzheimer's and my Mother have in common and that is, they were both dangerously close to death. Their bodies were extremely relaxed and cool. My mother's blood pressure and glucose were extremely low and her temperature was cool to cold. When my mother woke up, she remembered EVERYTHING (but it only lasted 24 hours) and her blood pressure and glucose were perfect (she had high blood pressure and blood sugar going in the Hospital). I think the arteries and blood vessels relaxed enough to allow normal blood flow to the brain. The body temperature was cool enough to remove the inflammation to arteries, blood vessels and what ever else in the brain, which could have made the blood flow better. How do I fix that? Acupressure, Ice pack and fish oil, maybe?

Please do eveyone a favour and put down what your mum had in hospital. It is a miracle but it could also be partly due to the fact her brain had a lot of time to heal and possibly the medication she was given? So many replies from others whos parents unwell. I am sure they prayed hard too. Why is it your prayers go answered whilst others dont. There must be more at play and it would be really helpful if you get her noted and check what she was on.
I think her case should be studied/reaserched, because if we can figure out exactly what helped her recover, we can maybe develop an effective treatment based on what happened to her.

Having read your comments I just want to say that I will pray for you all and your loved ones - I truly understand your pain and grief. My mother got her Alzheimer's diagnosis two years ago at the age of 65, and it affects her ability to speak and write. She's also having other memory problems. What I would also like to share with you is that the medical community is starting to better understand the processes behind the disease. Based upon studies by Dr. Dale Bredesen, Dean and Ayesha Sherzai and Mark Mattson, for instance, we have transitioned to mostly unprocessed vegan food including lots of fresh leafy greens, nuts, berries, wholegrains, legumes, plus my mother eats also fish twice a week. Daily fasting is also important for brain health, so my mom fasts usually around 16 hours a day. She has also some daily exercise and usually walks for an hour each day. To be able to relax and avoid stress is also beneficial for the brain as well as good night's sleep. She's been doing this for three whole weeks now and is in somewhat better condition than over a month ago. She's feeling very energized and is in good moods, and I think she might even have slight improvement of cognition, but I think we are able to see more significant improvement only after many moths. I truly hope this lifestyle prevention would work for her as well as everyone else willing to try it out.

My mom was diagnosed with dementia and declined quickly, nothing she said made any sense and was totally confused when she could find words at all. One night my mom fell out her bed at the nursing home and hit her head on the base of the IV pole, she was black and blue. About two weeks later it happened again, she was rushed to the hospital and never showed any signs of dementia ever again. She spoke logically from that day on. I'm thinking that it was most likely the dietary change - perhaps the tube feed she received was low carb, low lectin? I'm serious, too.
I’m pretty sure her nerves broke in her neck and it healed and reconnected probably through the work of a diet and therapy.
I don't know how to explain it because it gives me so much hope I'll pray and have faith that there is no great disease greater than the power of God❤
Please pray for my Mother Marlene Lehtonen. She's 67 and has just been diagnosed with severe dementia. She was in hospital majority of last year. They said she was probably 8 weeks all up not in hospital. She had a stroke Easter Saturday and massive surgery for stomach ulcer. That was her second stomach ulcer the other was in 2019. She has had higher than the highest case of cerebral hemmorhage in 2002. She came out with no problems from the cerebral hemmorhage. We found as she kept getting delirium last year she has Nash liver cirhosiss. She had class C. Later after everything it went to B. She had a seizure in front of me and a heart flip. She went into cardiac arrest. They did CPR for what they said was 5-10 mins. It felt like 10. I just prayed she survive and she wasn't brain dead or dead. She had no brain bleed either. The Dr said she had til the Sunday in September to wake up. He said he doesn't think she will wake up. He said he has been wrong before but he doesn't think he's wrong. Then the ventilator will come out and she will die. The Sunday came I stayed the night trying to wake her up. Played music for her talked to her, prayed with her. The next morning I asked the Dr for longer. He went to deliberate. Came back to say he will call the shots the ventilator will come out. He was lovely and sympathetic just giving his professional opinion. Church friends and a minister came to pray over her. Two relatives came. I tried again to see if she could have half my liver. Two drs said she wouldn't survive and her kidneys were failing. I couldn't give a kidney either. My older brother came at the end. Mum and I are estranged from him. That was not our choice. He has a wife and three children and loves them and is hard working at least. Just before the ventilator came out she opened her eyes. Definitely God! A miracle from the Lord. She had delirium for a long time. Then one day she snapped out of it. She was completely back to normal. I was told there was some brain damage she likely would always have some element of it. Then the MRI showed no brain damage. She was on the way to coming home after rehab. Then after a while at rehab her delirium came back. The Liver specialist thought it was HE. Which they said she did have. She even said she might be able to get a liver transplant. She would need to go to a clinic though to get asessed. Also she wasn't that bad to need one. Then younger drs thought it was brain damage. She ended up going into a nursing home. She has had the delirium since just before Oct 30th til now. They say dementia now. She did have a UTI when tested at Bowral hospital on Sunday. She went to the hospital as she started screaming things out after going red and ridged. She had episodes of this at the hospital too. Once they gave her some medicine she calmed down. I found out through the CT scan that from the stroke mum lost a chunk of her brain from the frontal lobe. They were dead cells they can't get back. Please pray for God to heal her and restore her mind and body. I pray she doesn't have dementia. Praying it's a misdiagnosis or that he will cure her. If he could please send another miracle. Prayers are appreciated immensely. Would mean the world 🙏

Her case is a few rare ones showing that the injury of neck, where the nerves are concentrated, recovered neck itself and the neurons at the same time as a secondary effect. In the sense that it happened to her and others witnessed this, is a miracle. This case should be more examined to find a breakthrough in the treatment of dimentia. We can do more than just pray. We should make effort scrutinising these small cases, scientifically, which we easily dismiss.
Yes, in that time healing from her neck injury, the glucose and nutrient may have been more balanced along with good rest. The doctor should post her medical records and treatment while she was in the hospital because with prayer something else helped. Give all the info not just prayer.

She was in the Hospital because of an Alzheimer's pill that she tried, which removed her sodium and left her with an electrolyte imbalance and delirium. She also had diabetes and high blood pressure, well, they found out that she was allergic to ALL blood pressure meds and Metformin, the HARD WAY....they almost killed her!! Alzheimer's caused my mother to only get 2 to 4 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period. However, at the Hospital, something happened that caused her to sleep for 16 hours. Her Blood Pressure was so low that they were getting ready to take her to the ICU, her blood sugar was low also. The Doctors couldn't wake her up, so I told the nurse to get me some orange juice for her. I start tapping her face back and forth (annoyingly) until she opened one eye - I yelled, "DRINK this" - she did - the other eye opened up too, her blood pressure and glucose went to normal....and THEN she REMEMBERED EVERYTHING!!! WHAT HAPPENED??? I told the Doctors, "Hey, this is your cue, you have to look into this". I said, "what did you do to make her cognition come back?" You know what? They could care less!! They said that their only concern was to get my mother home. They couldn't wait to kick her out and she's got great insurance but they just don't care. I've been buying every supplement on Earth to try to bring her cognition back. NOTHING is working! Exercise does help to slow it down a bit, I noticed that right away when she refused and rapidly got worse a few months after. I think controlling the blood sugar and blood pressure is a must, it sure couldn't hurt. I think it has something to do with narrowing arteries in your neck and probably the Blood Brain Barrier. I don't think there's enough oxygen going to the brain. Now, was it the Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar being too low that brought back her cognition (because she was COLD, that would lower the inflammation) or the 16 hours of sleep that helped? Maybe her arteries relaxed and the blood flowed better. I don't know but I won't quit trying to find out. I'm not going to drop the ball like these Doctors did.
My mother regained her cognition for 24 hours in the Hospital. I begged the Doctors to look into how it happened but they said that their only concern was to get my Mother stable so she can go home. They dropped the ball. This happened in 2019. My theory is that it has to do with issues with the arteries, blood vessels and/or the Blood Brain Barrier. It could be a plumbing problem. There is only one thing that this lovely lady that is cured from Alzheimer's and my Mother have in common and that is, they were both dangerously close to death. Their bodies were extremely relaxed and cool. My mother's blood pressure and glucose were extremely low and her temperature was cool to cold. When my mother woke up, she remembered EVERYTHING (but it only lasted 24 hours) and her blood pressure and glucose were perfect (she had high blood pressure and blood sugar going in the Hospital). I think the arteries and blood vessels relaxed enough to allow normal blood flow to the brain. The body temperature was cool enough to remove the inflammation to arteries, blood vessels and what ever else in the brain, which could have made the blood flow better. How do I fix that? Acupressure, Ice pack and fish oil, maybe?

Please do eveyone a favour and put down what your mum had in hospital. It is a miracle but it could also be partly due to the fact her brain had a lot of time to heal and possibly the medication she was given? So many replies from others whos parents unwell. I am sure they prayed hard too. Why is it your prayers go answered whilst others dont. There must be more at play and it would be really helpful if you get her noted and check what she was on.

Having read your comments I just want to say that I will pray for you all and your loved ones - I truly understand your pain and grief. My mother got her Alzheimer's diagnosis two years ago at the age of 65, and it affects her ability to speak and write. She's also having other memory problems.
What I would also like to share with you is that the medical community is starting to better understand the processes behind the disease. Based upon studies by Dr. Dale Bredesen, Dean and Ayesha Sherzai and Mark Mattson, for instance, we have transitioned to mostly unprocessed vegan food including lots of fresh leafy greens, nuts, berries, wholegrains, legumes, plus my mother eats also fish twice a week. Daily fasting is also important for brain health, so my mom fasts usually around 16 hours a day. She has also some daily exercise and usually walks for an hour each day. To be able to relax and avoid stress is also beneficial for the brain as well as good night's sleep. She's been doing this for three whole weeks now and is in somewhat better condition than over a month ago. She's feeling very energized and is in good moods, and I think she might even have slight improvement of cognition, but I think we are able to see more significant improvement only after many moths. I truly hope this lifestyle prevention would work for her as well as everyone else willing to try it out.
