      probably because they want a magic formula to learn japanese, e.g. "learn japanese in 3 months"

    Tips:
    1. Have a motivation to learn
    2. Learn useful everyday expressions
    3. Learn japanese expressions that don't translate well to english
    4. Practice what you have learned
    5. Learn adjectives
    6. Learn verbs
    7. Learn sentence ending
    8. Listen to a japanese language podcast
    9. Read and write japanese
    10. Practice japanese

    awesome podcast again! this tips are amazing. Going to make sure I write down all the verbs and adjectives I used during my day (in my language) and then make sure I know their equivalent in Japanese :D

      That's a very good technique! Keeping a notebook is a nice way to track your progress.

    A little late to the party but this explaination is really interesting. I just had a question about the not having tones. Are tones somehow different from pitch sounds? To me pitch sounds don't seem very easy
